Getting one for Xmas (sold my PS3, so I'm treating myself)keveh wrote:Purchased live today, couldn't resist.
I should get my code via email today, so if you want to add me my gamertag is suprisingly 'Keveh'.
Only really getting it for the mouth watering Fallout 3, and the upcoming Resident evil 5.

Obviously no good to you now but if you need to buy MS points (for XBLA games or DLC) I can highly reccommend www.gamepointsnow.co.uk who sell all manner of LIVE related codes, you also get the codes emailed instantly to your inbox so you can get using em straight away.keveh wrote:Purchased live today, couldn't resist.

Shopto.net were doing a really good deal recently, play.com were doing good deals also.Verbal wrote:hardly in the spirit of the thread, but i'm probably going to splash out on a ps3 this weekend - either with one of the phone deals or one of the upfront packages.
Any recommendations?
If its games you're after, I'm assuming you own a 360 and already have the major titles and will put *'s next to the "must haves" (in my opinion)...
Resistance 1* and 2
LittleBigPlanet*
Ratchet & Clank
WipeoutHD* (PSN Downloadable title)
Metal Gear Solid 4
Everybody's Golf 5
WarHawk*
Uncharted Drakes Fortune*
The Last Guy (PSN Downloadable title)
There's others, but those are my reccomendations.
I got it from play through the trader http://instantlivecodes.comFD wrote:Obviously no good to you now but if you need to buy MS points (for XBLA games or DLC) I can highly reccommend www.gamepointsnow.co.uk who sell all manner of LIVE related codes, you also get the codes emailed instantly to your inbox so you can get using em straight away.

Bastard i just spilt my wine with a genuine LOL. But seriously, twas a very simplistic question, but do you play them? are they anything near realistic? Obv individual mission games arent, but how close does the genre come. Do they bring up memories good or bad? Must be a strange position to be in, I'm intruiged.Soldier_Of_The_White_Army wrote:It's like going on op's, except all your equipment works.Prufrock wrote:Whats it like playing something like Call of Duty for you SOTWA?Soldier_Of_The_White_Army wrote:Getting one for Xmas (sold my PS3, so I'm treating myself)keveh wrote:Purchased live today, couldn't resist.

Anyone got one of them wireless headsets for their 360?
Are they any good, and are they really worth £30/£40 notes!?
Its just i find the wired one a bit flimsy and of poor quality, and you look a gimp wearing it - the wireless ones look pretty smooth?
Also, if anyone hgas noticed them going cheap anywhere in the sales...

any good???
They are very good, however, like most (if not all) 360 accessories they are disgustingly overpriced for what they are.General Mannerheim wrote:Anyone got one of them wireless headsets for their 360?

I'd not be without it.
As for cheap stuff I heartily reccommend www.shopto.net every time. Some REALLY good bargains on there right now and excellent delivery times.
