sort of depends on your prefered game types, i likes shooting stuff so will reccommend the last two Call of Duties, and Gears of Wars. Also Fable 2 is amazing! plus you need your dose of either fifa or PES!

almost forgot... GTA 4 is obviously a must too!!!

Guitar Hero was good up until the second game, both guitar hero 3, Aerosmith and 4 (world tour) are (imho) absolutely awful games. Rock Band is far superior in absolutely every way. The only thing that Guitar hero does well now is the instruments themselves.

I've been looking but can't find owt.

Don't want to spend loads and don't really want a surround sound system as I ain't got the space!

I bought this one when I needed to upgrade, I already had speakers so that saved on cost but you can pick speakers up at a reasonable cost nowadays. I heartily reccomend this unit though, it handles everything I throw at it. It has 2 optical inputs (would have preferred 3 as now I have to cable swap between 360 and PS3 but its not a big issue) and is a bargain for that price.

I'd suggest shopping around as well as Richer Sounds aren't too cheap (I got mine from them but I needed it that day, there and then as my old one had died on the spot) though.

I now have:

COD World at War, great but I am crap online!
GTA4, not started yet but I expect it to be great due to being a fan of the other GTA's.
FIFA09, superb I'm really enjoying making the Wanderers win!

The other starters I have not really tried, including Tomb Raider, just never been into it.

Haven't played GH world tour. I'm surprised it is easier though.

Played GH 3 and think thats harder than RB2.

Maybe saying it's harder isn't quite fair, it's all a much of a muchness - it's more like the sweat's dripping off me more when I'm drumming in RB2 like I have to put more effort in. Wost bit is constantly getting my arse kicked by my six year old son though. :(

Guitar Hero 3 is the hardest of the lot, certainly recently anyway.

Guitar Hero 4 has a massive window to hit the notes in, Rock Band 1 + 2 are easy in that they have less notes but harder in that the window to hit the notes is shorter, thus making you feel that when you get it spot on, you really feel like you are playing it.

The good thing with Rock Band 1+2 is that the song you are playing really varies the difficulty as well as the difficulty level you set! Also the instrument you select varies how hard it is from song to song.

I find drums hardest on most songs but some are just a breeze! Mind I've played guitar far more!

Which map you on?

Nah like the General says, just keep going. I joined the other night and one of my mates was in, and I did shit. He has given me grief since. Yet 3 games later, after the sod had buggered off, I won two games on't bounce. You just get a feel for it

I do miss folk talking on the headset though, telling me where the bad guys are
