What are you playing tonight?

Oh, I'll never tire of hearing The Safety Dance. Wonderful stuff. :pissed:

I was mooching through some old stuff the other day and came across one of many albums that I've bought on the strength of one track only to be mildly disappointed (at best) by the rest of it.

Here is one such example from 1990. Again, I'll never tire of hearing this track.

Just picked up tickets for the NME tour with Glasvegas, Florence and the Machine and the White Lies at Liverpool Uni. Looking forward to it.

The soundtracks to A Fistful Of Dollars and A Few Dollars More. A suitable theme as I lay a few traps for the furry grey f*cker that shat on my scanner lid over Christmas. :evil:

Having watched that excellent BBC documentary on British Progressive Rock online last night I drove to work this morning listening to Selling England by the Pound by Genesis.
On the way home I'll treat myself with Innervisions by Stevie Wonder or perhaps some Gil Scott Heron.

Spent the evening ripping my Charlatans EPs to MP3. All the early stuff, none of that modern din they've churned out: Then, Tremelo Song, Indian Rope, Me In Time. Fooking brilliant! :D

I've been pretty bored tonight so I've listened to a whole bunch of stuff;

Korn - Life Is Peachy

Guns N Roses - Live Era 87-93

Stone Roses - Best Of

U2 - Best Of 1980 - 1990
Don't call it a comeback

Felt like a bit of class so it's Sinatra's "The Heart of the Matter" and Michael Buble's "Call me irresponsible" albums. Chilling in style. :wink:

Surely that would just be a track by track repeat of their first album?

The Gaslight Anthem - the 59 sound. Looking forward to next Monday when Franz Ferdinand, Strokes's bassist and The Airborne Toxic Event each have albums out - the latter is gonna be an excellent debut. Also got all the Foo Fighters albums in the sale, £5er each
