What? No thread about the league leaders? Shocking

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Funny, I heard £10m.
Check Transfer Watch on Skysports. It's there in black and white.
I don't doubt that that's what they're saying, I'm just saying it's so wildly wide of the mark its untrue. When the story first came out a few days ago the figures were mooted around £10m, which is a much more realistic valuation. I know what I'm more inclined to believe (which is actually neither and that the whole story is a fabrication from a tabloid hack, but that's by the by).

Do you not believe it because you don't feel that Kuyt would be able to make the step up and play for a club like Juventus?

Notice how they've not won a game since Benitez launched his "I'd love it if we beat them" attack on Fergie? What a prick.

I don't think I'll be hanging myself for us being 2nd in the league, if that's alright with you.

Not the best little run, I have to say. Very frustrating. Ah well, we'll see what February brings - ah, yes, Chelsea on the 1st. Lovely.

Depressing, really.
Liverpool bottle it, and we're left relying on Chelsea to stop the Rags winning the league.

Just hope they can...

Coming away from the Blackburn game and Liverpool fans was all over the Talksport phone in. Moaning about Benetiz has no clue etc...

There 3rd in the League got some of the best footballers in the country if not the world

I wish they could be a Bolton fan for a day and they will see how LUCKY they are

& also there failure to give a Good team credit in Wigan

Potter check your pockets, there's some irony gone missing, and i think it might have been lost on you. Fan's of 15th best team in country, who have hounded a manager for months, sometimes with reason, sometimes defying it complain about other fans not appreciating what they have. I think Bournemouth, Wrexham and Bury are having a whip round to raise money for our poor fans.

What does this have to do with the league leaders? We need to change the thread title (or unfortunately start talking about the Rags on this one).

I bloody well hope not as I've put them down to win on my wholly unrealistic 9 game accumulator.

One of my great ambitions is to go into a bookmaker's and say "I'd like to put a pony on a horse and a monkey on a dog".

But I suppose everybody does that. So they'd just jeer at me, and I'd be laughed out of town. Possibly tarred and feathered whilst they're at it.
