He's been a pretty loyal servant over the years. But loyalty goes out of the window when £££££££ are involved. Sorry state of the modern game I suppose.
Frighteningly inconsistent. But i'll remember the goals at Old Trafford fondly.
Who will replace him? Who knows? Megson will probably panic buy a midfielder from the Polish Third Division at 11:59pm Saturday night.
I'm losing the passion I used to have for this football club.
Megson probably does his scouting on FIFA 09

What exactly for, we'll know more about come Tuesday.
Doubt if we could handle his bookies account never mind the wages
Sounding good, but would change a bit...DJBlu wrote:New tune I think it'll fit.
Oh me lads, we should have seen it coming.
Nolan's off to Newcastle and no one else is coming.
Fatty Gartside is Laughin, Smile on both his faces.
Lining both his poooockets, by selling all our Aces.

Haven't decided. My absence didn't seem to help us much for the Blackburn game.DJBlu wrote:He'll be back as a coach in some form as he loves managing the local kids team in his home town. Don't think we'll see him as a player here again. P.S. are you watching today?H. Pedersen wrote:What odds can I get on Nolan doing a Barry Ferguson and coming back eventually?

This just feels so wrong on every level
. The old feeling about the club is disappearing. Until recently I still wanted to feel that the club was still at it's heart the way it was when I first went in the 70s. A local club that meant something to those who played - not just a 'job'. Having players around who seemed to care about the club kept that feeling alive in spite of the huge changes I've seen over the last decade or so. I've been kidding myself that Bolton were different to the other commercial entities, I need to get the blinkers off because we're not .
I really hope there isn't an awful atmosphere at the game today. I have visions of loads of abuse being hurled and it being really unpleasant. My love of the club has kept me going even though match days have changed beyond recognition. It just won't feel right Nolan not leading the team out, I just hope the plonkers can keep their mouths shut for a while and give the team a chance.
Good luck Kevin.

I thought it'd be like that at the Man City game, when Megson (and McCann) were getting booed in the fanzone about an hour before we'd even kicked off. But everyone pulled together and we got a result.Mitch wrote:This just feels so wrong on every level. The old feeling about the club is disappearing. Further back, the club itself was in all kinds of shit post Panorama, and then we went down to Portsmouth and won.
It was Bibi who stepped up in the City game, and Nolan against Pompey. As long as someone does today, i've no doubt we can beat Spurs today. And whatever faults our fans may have, they will get behind the team, for a while anyway.

I'll keep repeating myself - but after today's match, maybe others will notice.bw@bw wrote:bw@bw wrote:Am I the only one who thinks they are putting a lot of faith in Mark Davies?????????
Answer my own question - evidently not
From BBC site
""Bolton boss Gary Megson made moves for a replacement for Nolan on Monday, when he signed midfielder Mark Davies from Wolves. ""
Mark Davies is Nolan's replacement.
I doubt it. That's only the BBC's interpretation of events.bw@bw wrote:I'll keep repeating myself - but after today's match, maybe others will notice.bw@bw wrote:bw@bw wrote:Am I the only one who thinks they are putting a lot of faith in Mark Davies?????????
