I love how this story entwines with the old story of Niko Belic, you even cross paths with him a few times, and you remember some his old missions as they have an effect on you now, like when you get Niko to kill the biker whos seeing the Russian guys daughter - that biker is a Lost MC friend of Johnny's! - still to see what the outcome of that will be.

Ricky Gervais has finished his stint at the split sides club, replaced now by Fankie Boyle!!!

Still amazed by how all this works tho, apparentlyL&tD is a third of the length of the original! blimey! im guessing this content was already on the disc somewhere, and the download just unlocks it somehow?
iirc -its 3 gig. iirc only about 7 of the 9 are usuable on a xbox disc. 3gig x 3rd is 9, if owt the DLC is too big, off the numbers you just give.
Lost & The damned is 1.7GB in size. You download it, when you boot the game up it asks you if you wanna play GTA4 or Lost & The Damned, after that, upon loading up it just loads the last saved game. The only content "already on the disc" is the assets, art wise, because its still the same city, etc.

that makes more sense, i thought 3gig was a bit big. i misread the size as 2.7 on some other website.

Just in case anyone was wondering, Resident Evil 5 is f**king brilliant. Excellent in single player but AMAZING in co-op over LIVE!

Oh and if anyone loves Gears of War, the 50 cent game is well worth a play, very fun and if you can get past the shite that is 50 cent's world (not a fan) then you'll really enjoy it.

Bought Hawx over the weekend.

Pretty good arcade fun.

Not a flight sim though for anyone who prefers that sort of thing stay well clear.

But if you want to re-enact top gun like dogfights then I'd highly reccomend!

Can't recommend getting an arcade stick highly enough. I got one of the Hori ones imported a year or so ago (about £50) and I wouldn't even think of touching the likes of Street Fighter or Soul Calibur without it now.

Yeah, didn't like it at all I'm afraid. As generic a FPS as they come!

I wouldn't reccomend buying a stick for Street Fighter by the way unless you are VERY serious about playing the game. They aren't cheap and some people find them harder to use than a normal pad. I personally love my stick though, wouldn't be without it!

I'm ashamed to say I suck at sf4 even on the easier settings.

Seth (final boss) is a cheating f**k yeah, though the irony is that when you unlock him to play as, you never will as he's SOOOOOO slow and weak.

The expensive joystick is made with genuine sanwa parts, which basically means its literally like having the joystick part of a cab at your fingertips, it also has screws on the bottom you can remove and allows you to attach it to a table at home etc. It's totally customizable inside as well and has a nice cable storage at the back of the unit. Its also bigger.

I tried both but couldn't justify the outlay on the top spec one, so went for the normal fightstick, which is all kinds of brilliant, and in truth I prefer the look of the cheaper one.

Anyone finding it hard though, try the "challenge" mode trials, they teach you how to use the moves properly and get you doing combos you can take online and dish out damage with.

cool.

its not the end man that's the git, its bison.

i do the wrong special moves all the time. "not spinning piledriver, again"

the charge <then>^ ones are nearly impossible to do on the reg pad. and i dont think its the pad .

because on sf2 the <then> moves are easier to do than the d,df,f type ones.

its like the 'leeway' of getting certain moves right has changed.

as i said- its a cheatin' bastard.

I'm afraid with SF4 it's horses for courses as to what control method you use. I'm pretty good at the game (average to good) and I use a stick, yet a friend of mine who uses the 360 standard pad with the STICK not the d-pad regularly reams me senseless.

Find the controller you like is my suggestion!

Anyway, for SF4 fans, this may make you laugh : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY2esNNKg1o

The build I've seen was fun, I'm told co-op should be in there too which is great.

I have a very very good friend who works in the industry! :) He hooks me up with games early and I sometimes get to see stuff before it's finished.

Been playing more Street Fighter 4 online, and today played some damn good fighters...also played some people who spam the hell out of moves, but I'm not whinging, if its in the game it's there to be used. Did laugh at the Gouken player though, who could only do the ultra after throwing into it, so he was continually trying to throw me, lucky I never let him get that close. Found him difficult to break down with my Ken, so switched to Balrog (Boxer) and knocked the shite out of him :D

Anyone on here gonna buy the 360 Ultimate Pack for Fifa 09? I thought about it, but I'm not convinced its worth 800 points, as that's about £7.99 real money!
