Which we nicked off someone else (it was originally about Chopra wasn't it?)Puskas wrote:That's the norm, though. These days Bolton fans just go round nicking those of other teams and adapting them.
And there was, recently, "What's that coming over the hill - is it Anelka?"
Which I liked.
I think someone should invent a song about the old Normid on the away end!

I thought "Monster" only got released in 2006 - not long before we bought Anelka.
You could be right, but it would have had to have been quick....

I wouldn't mind if we could pinch "Glad All Over" off Blackpool
, looks great when loads of people are performing it!

Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.

Would a pizza pie just be a cheese and tomato pie (possibly with, say, salami, or some other topping included. Ham and pineapple for those in Hawaii)? Or would it have the pizza crust in there, too? And wouldn't that be a bit carb-heavy with the pastry of the pie?Ebi wrote: (WHEN the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie)
Is it pub time, yet?

My, my, my Elmander,
Why, why, why, Elmander?
Before we break down the door,
We just can't take anymore,
Leave us Elmander
We simply can't take anymore!
Not that I don't like Elmander you understand, his time will come (once he starts doing what he's paid vast amounts of money to do). His name just happens to ryhme with Delilah.
On reflection, perhaps we need something a little more encouraging?

Same Delilah:
Come on now Elmander,
Be a Bolton Wanderer,
Score a few, You know you're well overdue.
But hey, we'll forgive you
If you can just get one or two.
Come on now Elmander
Show a little candour,
You know the fans will just fret,
Till you get the ball in the net
So come on Elmander
We've still got to pay off the debt.

Why, why, why we gander,
At your sporting prowess
We simply think you're the best,
Come on Elmander and put the ball in the net.
(sorry, I realise nest would be a better rhyme, but I've never heard anyone use "nest" as a caloquialism for the old "onion bag")
Hope is what keeps us going.
