Too Fat To Work
This has probably been splashed all over the place but anyway:
Family who are 'too fat to work' say £22,000 worth of benefits is not enough
#1 "All that healthy food, like fruit and veg, is too expensive." - The poor dears, can't you see that they'd all be slimmer if it weren't for exorbitant prices for all that fresh, non-bacony produce?
But almost without pause:
#2 "We're fat because it's in our genes. Our whole family is overweight," she added. - You see? They have a pre-existing condititon! They need money in order to make their permanently enflabbed lives liveable!
but here's daughter with no #3: Emma, said: "I'm a student and don't have time to exercise" - Yes, time poor because she's an apprentice hairdresser, her every spare moment snatched away by titanic course loads before she can exercise!
and she does it too, in the same breath #4: "We all want to lose weight to stop the abuse we get in the street, but we don't know how." - Now we see the true picture of misery, this poor taunted family needs education not cruelty. They haven't the faintest idea where to start. But money will surely help them buy a clue.

These people go through excuses faster than bacon butties:A family of four with a combined weight of 83 stone say they are "too fat to work" and need more than the £22,000 they currently receive in benefits.

Whenever I see an article about 'too fat to work', for some reason I always think of that Simpsons episode where Homer wants to work from home.
This family are too fat to work because they don't go to work. If they got a job and got off that poor couch instead of filling their fat faces, they wouldn't be so fat.
There is no excuse. Eat less, and get off you fat arse and exercise more.
Come the revolution and they make me dictator, people like this won't get a penny in benefits.

I think I eat pretty healthily these days, and I think it can be done very cheaply.
It's possible to buy a big bag of potatoes from the Aldi near me for 50p, and fillings like tinned tuna for jacket potatoes can be bought pretty cheaply.

However, you might recognise Emma from her ill-fated X Factor audition in a meringue bridesmaids-style gown.

Bloody hell! I'm 65 Kg and about 5'8½" (I've shrunk by 1½" over the years), consider myself to be a bit overweight and need to get rid of at least 5 Kg of that in order to reduce the size of my paunch (see little picture at left). Maybe I inherited my daughter's genes?
Oh, yes, I forgot - I have 'light' bones.

Good grief. She's too fat to sing in tune as well, I take it!Montreal Wanderer wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:Is this the family that were evicted from their house in Ramsbottom and one of them had been on a pop factor show?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEthTDp3D84She, dad Philip, 53, also 24st, and daughters Samantha, 21 and 18st, and Emma, 19 and 17st, are all on the dole.
