I take it all back.Bruce Rioja wrote:This Mad Ferret place. Is it ran by some secret society? I can't find a number for them to ask about tickets, and I can find anywhere selling tickets either. What sort of a business is this?

I've just had an email back from the owner telling me everything that I could possibly need to know.
He's even given me his mobile number for if I have any difficulty getting in.

Mate, I don't know where to start. They were absolutely superb. I've got the new album blurting out of the system at the moment and just can't stop listening to it. I can't believe that I ended up watching this lot amongst no more than 100 or so people in a Preston boozer on Wednesday evening. WTF?Verbal wrote:Saw Jeniferever live in Aldgate last year. Absolutely blew me away, and completely upstaged the headliners that night, iLiKETRAiNS. If you get the chance to seem them brucey take it, tis a hard experience to forget!

Today I am bunking off our inevitable depressing capitulation to Villa to go and see Dylan at the O2.
Hooray!
And I have somehow managed to get tickets to go and see him play at the Roundhouse tomorrow, too.
Bobtastic!

How was he? I really enjoyed both nights. Second was better, although that may just have been down to it being a smaller venue.BWFC_Insane wrote:Funnily enough have just listened to his new album.Puskas wrote:Today I am bunking off our inevitable depressing capitulation to Villa to go and see Dylan at the O2.

Yes, he can be hit-and-miss. And, I think, it also depends on your own mood when you go and see him. But, I thought he was on form.
Haven't yet heard the new album - bloody amazon....hopefully, it'll arrive tomorrow.

Zane Lowe's top 50 Guitar legends. God he's an idiot. If you write such a list, you either go on your own 50 personal fave's, the 50 best technically, or the 50 biggest legends. All through the show he has talked about 'legends', and 'icons', so he seems to have picked the latter route. So can somebody tell me how Matt Belamy, fantastically talented as he is, is above: Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Keith Richards, Tony Iomi and Prince. Anybody can argue that on taste, fair enough, but on legend status? Anyone explain how Eric Clapton isn't even in it? Nor Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, or Buddy Holly?

It arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, I was in the pub all night, so am giving it a first listen tonight.Bruce Rioja wrote:Do you have it yet? And, is it anything like his last one? It seems rather more, erm, accordian based than his last one....
Not sure at the moment. But I need to give it a few listens. Preferably when I'm in a better mood - just been on the phone to the fooking Dell Support desk for about an hour, only for him to tell me what I told him when I first called. But I won't go into that, as I'll only rant, become offensive and get banned. Or something....
Anyway, not really like his last one, as I said. Mind, I liked his last one....
