Nolan's not dancing to the right Toon

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Wouldn't be too sure of that!

To be honest I had completely forgotten he was playing for them. Heh.

Listening to the pre-match on Talksport, he was dropped not injured. Lot of good it did 'em.

Quite something to be dropped from the squad entirely as Smith and Butt start and a half-fit Barton sits on the bench.

If Nolan's no use to the team in a relegation scrap and Alan Smith is, his Toon career could be very short

Perhaps we should put in a cheeky bid?

Seven mince pies and Vaz Te?

To be fair, I don't want him on the payroll, it's 40K a week we can pay somebody with ability and fitness

Talking about pie eating, Guthrie came on as a sub and look much poggier than I remember him, perhaps Nolan and him eat out a lot together. :D

We've moved on.

Last thing Megson needs is the Nolan bashers to have another axe to grind with him.

Barton is a better player though, so you can't blame him.

I feel rather sorry for Kev to be honest, I don't think he wanted to leave and now he can't get a game in a team that's gonna get relegated. I can see him getting picked up by Allardyce when Toon go down as he's rebuilding his old Bolton team at Blackburn.

Liverpool 1 - 0 Newcastle
(Benayoun)

Get in!

Liverpool 2 - 0 Newcastle
(Kuyt)

My word, Toon are down, they look hopeless and Liverpool could score 6 today.

They started well in attack but look very vulnerable in defence. Could be a cricket score if the Pool keep it up in the second half.

Nolan and Owen come on but do nothing.

If only Liverpool could shoot straight today they would have scored 10, hit the bar 3 times and some geat saves from Harper as well.

But 3-0 will do, Newcastle are still 8 points behind us with a much worse goal difference (-19) than we have (-11).

You don't think that Allardyce would go back in for Barton before Nolan, FD? He has previous for it.

Nope, I think he would have had Nolan if he thought for a second he was available. Back then I'd imagine any enquiries were met with "F*ck off" but obviously in January it was more a case of US wanting rid.
