Being the natural cynic I am Bobo, I would suggest the bit about them all getting together and fixing the price is far closer to the truth than you'll (or I'll)ever really know.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I don't get these knobbers that send me a bill every year for £1.08 (One Pound and eightpence) for groundrent, telling me that they're pleased to be able to offer me redemption of said charge in future for the 'knock-down price of £150'. (Loyd Grossman voice) Let's do the maaaaath here.

I'm 42, nearly 43 years old and they charge me £1.08 a year. If I wad them up to the tune of £150 then I'll need to live until I'm 181 years old in order to break even. :conf:

for the £150 do you get the 'freehold' (or deed to the ground or whatever it is, so 'you' own the ground your house is built on.) ?

might be worth it as your house might be worth mores with it.

if not, then its probably not worth it. (only plus i can see is, they'll stop mithering if you do)

:/
