European and Local Elections
This isn't politics, it's democracy in action.
So...have you voted yet? Got up early today and posted my slip, only the first time I have (actually, second time as I did vote in the council elections a couple of years back at uni).
Are you voting today?

"Young people, nowadays, imagine money is everything."
"Yes, and when they grow older they know it."

Voted on the way into work. If you don't vote you've no right to complain about the sh*t you're dealt.
Singularly unimpressed with the lack of canvassing in the run up to, and including, today. Apart form the BNP, but those w*nkers don't count.

"You're Gemini, and I don't know which one I like the most!"
Aye agreed. We've had 6 pathetic flyers through the door between 3 of us. I shall be popping in on my way to the train station. Think it'll have to be Labour, mainly coz no-one else even vaguely left-y has posted anything through the door, or knocked, or even indicated they might be involved, and also to stop the mentalists getting in, which is a real worry given the amount of splintered voting.enfieldwhite wrote:Voted on the way into work. In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I now officially have my democratic right to complain. Only me in the polling station.enfieldwhite wrote:Which is your democratic right.Worthy4England wrote:I will turn up at the polling booth and will submit a ballot. Just so Enfield can't deny me my right to complain.
Ballot might not vote for any of them though...

Went to my polling station before, first time voter; apparently it's been pretty hectic all day.
Was hovering between Lib Dem and Green; went for the latter in the end due to these expenses scandals, and the Greens had some decent policies. Any vote to stop the BNP will do though.
Only had a choice between Labour, Conservative and UKIP for the locals. With Labour in the state it is, meant a spoilt paper was the only option for me there.
