185 to defend. A good effort with the bat I thought. Pakistan bowled very well towards the end, especially Gul and the young spinner. James Foster hit a six? Ha!

Come on people.

It's going well. At 42-3 we should finish this one off. There were the same old problems though for England when batting - being tied down by spin in the middle overs, and lacking someone who could hit it out of the ground to score 60 off the last 5.

To be fair we had mascheranas in the middle who hits a fair few, and foster hit a six. I'd credit the bowling towards the end - Gul was so accurate with the yorker and their young spinner we didn't have a clue how to play, very good he is.

At the minute we top the group, because we have a better net run rate than holland. If pakistan win, then holland obviously can't catch our net run rate. If holland win, well pakistan finish without a win.

Aye, Aussies oot and sliding to depression. I reckon the Ashes series should be cancelled forthwith and the MCC awarded the accolade instead. The wee trophy should be kept in Slough and encased in a block of concrete, appropriately impressed with comments such as 'Lou loves Lou' or 'Brownie rules, OK'.

England 111 all out  against SA, what's the excuse this time then?
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

They couldn't bat because they were still laughing too hard at the Aussies?

Being a great fan of playing cricket but not an avid follower of this 20/20stuff, what;s the point of having twenty overs each when one side can win in nine overs?
