My lovely little lady just got me one of these lads (watching me trying to use it is fun!). So what songs do you recommend are must downloads to it and NO Michael jackson, George Michael, Duffy, Amy Whinehouse, Bee Gees, Sister Sledge :)

I'm still convinced that Duffy is an elaborate joke, there is no way any real person could like that type of "singing".

Surely the joke artist is Lady Gaga . . . I haven't seen a celebrity with such a baffling combination of self-importance, a complete lack of talent, and horse-faced ugliness since Alanis Morrisette.

Obviously Tinchy Stryder feat. N-Dubz should be first on

Aqualung - Tull.

if that's a bit scary for you try "Muddy Water Blues" - Paul Rodgers.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Most acceptable Mr Clown. I would also offer Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane.

Duffy's Welsh.
And his middle name's "Tin Tin". That one about red wine was crap.

What should you put on?

Stormcock, by Roy Harper.

Blood on the tracks, by Dylan.

Pawn Hearts, by Van der Graaf Generator.

Quark, Strangeness and Charm, by Hawkwind.

And Doolittle, by Pixies.

Something for everyone.

A "Night at the Opera" by Queen!! or "band on the run" wings, "Every picture tells a story" - Rod Stewart, finally "Goodbye Yellow brick road ej.
Whoops forgot "Bat out of Hell" and "Billion Dollar Babies", Catchbull at four Cat stevens and a "Salty Dog" Procol Harem.

Aquaplane!

Raven, you could try websites like last.fm or 14tracks.com as starting points (unfortunately the swines have disabled pandora.com outside of the US).
