Didn't Hull just sign Altidore? That kid from the US? Not sure how that one will work out.

Sunday, Monday Habib Beye has turned down Hull and gone to Villa instead.

You could make a team out of all the players that have fecked Hull off this pre-season.

Alvaro Negredo from Real Madrid to Hull.

Wow, great signing Browny, if you can manage it.

Can't say I've seen him. Is he any good?

They're talking about quite a lot of money.

80 games, 32 goals in La Liga.

He's a 'cantera' youth product there, so I reckon they'll flog him Hull with a buy-back clause in there somewhere. Impressive signing.

Good age as well. Depends whether that "record" translates to the premierhip!

He's a tall, physical bloke, as is Altidore. I think they'll do well.

Impressive signing by Hull if they pull it off, he was tipped as having an asking price of €15-20 million a month ago.

Indeed, or how well he can adapt to having the ball played into the small of his back / the back of his head / 30 yards in front of him etc. etc. :D

Sunderland very close to completing the signing of Lee Cattermole from Wigan for TEN MILLION! Ridiculously overpriced.

Sky reported £6m rising to £8m. Still a lot of dough for a man with all the timing of a train driver.

I refer yer honour to my own thoughts on LC: http://www.the-wanderer.co.uk/boards/vi ... hp?t=17655
"Young people, nowadays, imagine money is everything."

"Yes, and when they grow older they know it."

That's how Real has valued the player the whole summer. I just can't see where's Hull getting this kind of money from.
