Live football for £3.50 at Chorley FC!!!!!
With no Premier or Championship League fixtures on Saturday, why no enjoy a real Lancashire non-league derby as Chorley FC take on local rivals, Salford City?
The game takes place at Chorley's Victory Park, kick-off is 3.00pm, and Wanderers season ticket holders will be admitted for only £3.50 on production of a current season ticket. Normal admission prices are Adults - £7.00, concessions £3.50 and accompanied children FREE!!
It promises to be a cracking game, as Chorley celebrate the signing of top goal-scorer, Terry Fearns.
So come on down to Chorley this Saturday. Enjoy a few beers in town or in the social club before the match. Saturday afternoons are all about watching live football and having a few beers with the lads!!

I admire your persistence, Maggie, and hope it pays off.
To those who live in the area I would suggest that a trip to Victory Park would surely be a wonderful way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. I've been to a few local rugby games (most within walking distance) and a more pleasant experience would be hard to find.
Should you take up the offer of a few beers at the game though, then, please, leave your car at home.

If I had the werewithal, and the Southern BWFC fans had given a toss, I'd have done a similar thread promoting the start of the FA Vase campaign of the LEADERS OF THE SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE!!!!
Colney Heath take on Sporting Bengal (seriously) tomorrow at 3pm. But it's in St Albans, so don't bother if you can't.
If we get further, and we get an away draw up North, and circumstances etc etc etc, I'd hope to promote it here.

If you ever end up playing in the bath/brizzle area this year, give us a shout. I'll turn up and probably start a short-lived chant of "kebab out"KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:If I had the werewithal, and the Southern BWFC fans had given a toss, I'd have done a similar thread promoting the start of the FA Vase campaign of the LEADERS OF THE SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE!!!!

Played with and against Rhodri a fair few times. Very good on his day, he just doesn't have his day often enoughBruce Rioja wrote:A fine afternoon's entertainmen up at VP again. Chorley 3 Salford 2.
Salford had Ryan Giggs's brother playing for them too. He looks like their Ryan as well, until someone gives him the ball!

I can well imagine that, Borris. On this afternoon's showing he was, on occasion, just as fleet of foot as his brother, but then seemed to confuse himself just as much as he did the guy that he was trying to get past.boltonboris wrote:Played with and against Rhodri a fair few times.
