What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Got tickets to see The Tragically Hip in Dec. I've only been waiting about 18 years for them to play somewhere north of that London.

David Byrne and Brian Eno - Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.

Sometimes I listen to this and think that it's fantastic, yet on other occassions I conclude that it's, at best, average.

It's sounding pretty good tonight though! :D

This weekend, I have mostly been listening to Motorhead's classic tribute to the US President.

"Cos when we shoot to kill, and you know we always will, it's Obama, it's Obama, it's Obama!"

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.

That could have been a whole lot worse!
Thank God you didn't choose another, more commercial single from the Album of the same name!

Three new CD's out that I'm currently listening to.

The Wildhearts - Chutzpah!

Ginger and the boys have done it again. Heavy, Riffy, Melodic(y)

Lynyrd Skynyrd - God and Guns

Had a lot of airtime on Planet Rock. Not a bad album if you like Slide Geetar and Whiskey!

Kiss - Sonic Boom

Formulaic, steady, safe Glitter Rock from the Lizard King and cohorts. Not disappointing, but no surprises either.
"You're Gemini, and I don't know which one I like the most!"

Bowie's earlier and later stuff. Not that shite he did in the 80s.

Just investigating Black To Comm's Alphabet 1968.

Seems to suit the Watership Down Fat Camp video.

Which I suspect, on further investigation, is a clip from the B-movie Night Of The Lepus.

The Essential Cuban Anthology. Great double CD album featuring Rueben Gonzalez, Compay Segundo and Ibrahim Ferrer ( of Buena Vista Social Club fame) tito Puentes, Perez Prado and The All Star Cuban Orchestra. My sort of music.

Frank's new album: Poetry of the deed. Hated it at first listen, but boy is it a grower, haven't listened to anything else by choice for the last four days. I love that man.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis - BBC orchestra - in the living room, glass of cava, by candlelight - beautiful and majestic - and a way to clear the appalling refereeing today from my consciousness...
