He gave a pen against us for the keeper's foot being an inch outside the area (on a wet surface) and ignored theirs doing the exact same.

UNWANTED, UNREQUESTED & UNNECESSARY MARKETTING PHONE CALLS.

In general, but from one source in particular ... MAS (Mortgage Advisory Services) of Derby.

These people call my home number a minimum of three times a day, every day & this has gone on at least a month.

They NEVER then are there when you pick up.

I have been diverted to their contact message in which an auto message is heard in girl advises that there is no-one available(& actually sniggers mid-way through the message)and moves the call to an "unsubsribe" box that the unsubscibe box if full.

It has been full for the past month & I guess some time longer.

I looked up their number on t'web & found out who they were, to find a host of other stuff from there by people complaing about them.

I'm of a mind to start my own call rota to them to gt some of my own cack. Any tips ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Certainly.

1. Buy a large lump hammer. (Do It All or similar)

2. Drive to Derby.

3. Hit MAS staff with lump hammer as they arrive for, or leave from, work.

4. Make sure that the girl who pre-recorded the message gets hit extremely hard during this process.

That should do it.

Hoboh well done on pulling together a load of random tenous news stories and trying to make a link between them, that doesn't exist.

Why are public swimming pools "just for kids"?

And is giving kids swimming lessons and improving their fitness not good?

Also I don't see what cuts in adult services have to do with anything here? In the article it is clear that adult services are being cut across the board as a result of the recession. Not just in Bolton. And if there were a surplus of staff there surely its a good thing that the council are trimming?

I'm fairly sure that the 11M the council are putting into the development will not be part of their normal budget. As LK has said it may well be PFI, or it could well be money that can only be spent on sports infrastructure and developments.

Right so its alright to cut 84 jobs to save £1 mill because of recession then spend £11 mill to create what 10-15 full time jobs and 10-15 part time ones  Who taught you ecconomics? Gordon Brown?

Also if this "pool" is so much in demand how come the water place ran annual losses of £187,000?

As for "surplus" staff, try asking around matey, there is not enough to do a proper job for the most vunerable and needy now!

As for PFI or anything else you still seem to grasp that the reality of this is, the taxpayers of Bolton will end up with proberbly a bigger tab to foot than the original £11 mill for a hole in the ground filled with water that will be under used and proberbly turned over to the Uni for next to nowt sooner or later.

I really fail to understand why you sheep who tow the club or labour party line fail to grasp NOT all of us believe everything we are fed nor are we going to sleep walk into a big brother state led by Nanny Harman either.

Hoboh once again you fail to grasp the fact that the 11M being used to build this pool will be money that CAN ONLY be spent on sport infrastructure or similar.

It happens all the time in the public sector where grants or monies are mandated from the government down but you can only spend it on whatever the funding is designed for and usualy within a certain space of time.

As for adult services experience tells me that there will never be enough carers to fully cope with the demand. It seems like provision of adequate service is very difficult in current times. However, the decision and what and who it actually affects CANNOT be determined from that piece in the MEN. If the decision is that the service was not as efficient as it could be then I don't see what problem there is with it really. I imagine this decision is far more complex than it is presented in the paper and will be as a result of MONTHS AND MONTHS or review and assessment of the service.

I'm quite surprised that there hasn't been anyone on here to complain about that 70 stone bloke draining NHS resources.

Actually I've been wondering who's been stupid enough to give him all the cash that amount of food must have cost?
Surely they have some responsability for this affair!

Apparently he has six NHS staff in attendance. Just think - one of them probably has to wipe his arse for him. Enjoy lunch.

Do you occasionally take Bulgarian men home in the early hours? If so, rest easy, we've already got a thread on it.

For the money is cost them to come up with the new routes, I'd expect them to do it easily.

I'm not keen on them frittering away my money on conutless reviews and assessments, which basically amount to sod all in the long-term for us. But it'll make it look like they're worth every penny of the salaries they 'steal'.

You sound like a council-sympathiser, must be lonely sometimes.....
