Benitez .... prick

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Probably coming away from the match to find his car has been put on bricks.

Why take your most creative player off, leaving Lucas and Mascherano on the pitch... Really ambitious that.

Also, how long before Torres decides to move to a bigger club? He is clearly out of place in what is, barring him and Gerrard, a top 6 quality squad at best. Hasn't won anything since he moved and seems not to get on that well with Rafa if his book is anything to go by, it's surely a matter of time before he is forced to move on

Torres was having a dig at Kaka wanting to transfer to City (about 20 pages back in this thread) on the grounds it "obviously" wasn't about winning anything and absolutely was, all about the money. A few more losses and he should be itching to get on his bike himself, because it's not about loyalty - it's all about winning stuff...

Mind you, Blurred did point us to the fact that Liverpool were the best team in Europe over the last 5 years, so maybe there isn't a problem after all.

Saw a lot of the Lyon fans wandering round Liverpool today, looking distinctly unimpressed.

Glad they're going home with a smile on their faces.
I was in Liverpool yesterday too. I was having lunch in a restaurant on Brunswick Street (I think it was Brunswick Street anyway) and I thought it was amusing watching all the Lyon fans and hundreds of super annuated Yank holidaymakers off the Queen Mary wandering around in the pouring rain.

I had a good chat with the Liverpool season ticket holding taxi driver on my way back to Lime Street. He reckons that this is the worst Liverpool side for over fifteen years. I agreed with him. (Tee hee!)

I must say that, with Gerrard and Torres injured they look very, very, ordinary.

Benitez is basically Gary Megson with a bigger budget. The same mystifying formations, the same counterintuitive substitutions, the same overpriced signings his club don't really need.

The difference is that Megson is getting better, while Benitez gets ever worse.

I feel seriously dirty even thinking this but god I hope the Scum hammer them on Sunday .

There were a few boos knocking around yesterday both at full time and when they took Benayoun off not often you hear boos at Anfield. Lets hope his appeal with the Liverpool fans is wearing thin

You should feel bad.

There are lines that you should never, ever cross.

I hope Man Utd beat Liverpool at the weekend with a last minute injury time winner from Owen.

That truly would be priceless.

Rafa has spent the money. And they're in a mess.

Am sure Blurred will be on here to say "Rafa hasn't spent that much" etc etc.

I wish BWFC had 18M to spend on a right back! So do most clubs I expect!

I often end up being shocked - genuinely, scarily worried, by the number of closet-Rags on this site.

I'd defect to WanderersWays, were it not for the fact that I'm scared of them, and they'd sense my fear and kill me before I even manage to post.
