Am tempted to do that Sky Player offer. bit more flexible for me than signing up to sky proper. Anyone do it?

About a tenner a month to watch Sky through your Xbox, you need a Gold Account on the 360 (about forty quid a year).

is there any point in it if you already have sky?

or is it similar to the bbc iplayer, where you can download prgrommes you have missed?

I suppose the benefit for me would be that I could watch it upstairs while the missus has corrie on. It's cheaper than multi-room too!

See I'm considering subscribing as a way of getting Sky, I'd watch online or thru the Xbox. Costs are similar, but you're only tied into a month by month deal. If I'll watch it, then I'll prob commit to proper Sky

You really don't want skyplayer on a 360 for your main sky, it's shit quality and is streaming.

It's also the same price as a multiroom subscription, with the added bonus of sounding like an aircraft carrier.

Anyone remember the Baldurs Gate series?

Well in 4 days time (at the time of posting!) Dragon Age: Origins will be released.

I am looking forward to this :D

I've just discovered you can download an old Atari ST game in the community games - Onslaught. It's shit, but a shit game I spent weeks on as a kid, that'll be me tomorrow

Yer - played them all. Only got naffed off when they went to NWN (which I thought was poor fare compared to the BG Series). Thanks for pointing this one out to me, will go have a look see. :-)

Yeah it was on my list. I'm excited about it. Just picked up GTA IV finally, so I might be slow in picking Dragon Age up. I loved Baldur's Gate and the Norrath series.

Courtesy of Amazon this arrived in the post this afternoon.

It's in the post back to them tomorrow morning!

First time in the machine and the disc is scratched to buggery! The game never even tried to play and just reported the disc was unreadable! First time this has ever happened with my xBox which is and always has been in the horizontal position. Yes, I've read about the 'toothpaste method' but its going back to Amazon.
