At a 11.00am Sunday breakfast, of traditional(ish) sort - bacon (smoked, crispy), scrambled eggs (slightly and deliciously sloppy from early high temp sizzle then v low temp slow cook - beautiful, try it...), mushrooms, baked beans, toast... and we played Tchaikovsky's 6th... the first movement clearly designed with leisurely breakfast in mind and the second with clearing the table...

Only marred slightly by Observer sports pages reporting a 4-0 defeat against chelsea...

My mate lent me 'Trout Mask Replica' by 'Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band' recently.

Nice in bits, but just cannot get into it.

Got a feeling they're on in Manc as well the week after. Maybe Wednesday? Worth looking at any way.

Ive been watching clips of Broudie from this year playing acoustic versions of his Lightning Seeds tracks today and it's pretty good!

Balls. I'm away next week. My only chance would be to drive up to Lancaster on Saturday. Where's the library in Lancaster, anyone? Also, are we in uni term-time, as I'd imagine that as having a bearing on availibility?
