Benitez .... prick

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

cast your mind back to august when said fat tosser said the game wasn't changed when sean davis was harshly sent off in their 3-2 win at the reebok as they were in "control of the game".........at 2-1 down.

as bobo said, not good for us that pompey won, but it has its compensations Image
Liverpool were crap from the point they conceded the 1st goal. Macharano looks like he is trying to force his transfer through. The waiter well at least he's consistent.

Halfway through the season, hopelessly out of the title race, eight points off 4th place . . . surely it's time to axe him?

The thing about Benitez is that he probably would have been sacked long ago if UEFA hadn't changed the rules to get them into the Champions League through the back door in 2005-2006.

And I'd still say no. Who would we get in who'd do a better job? I hear Alan Curbishley is out of work...

Fernando Torres urges Liverpool not to sack Benitez
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres says sacking manager Rafael Benitez will not solve the club's current ills.
In today's press we have the above.

B-Hell, it must be close !

End of the season, in my view, but still, it's progress.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Aye if Fernando stops laying on physios bed with a few of his mates and admits he can hear the bells, then Mr Prick might start to have a hope in hell of catching Stretford and Chelski!!!!!

The Pool looked very poor today and were once again saved by a sending off for two very innocuous yellow card offences. Even then they struggled against the 10 men of Wolves to get a very lack luster 2-0 win.

Again similar to Bolton the Liverpool players looked disinterested and disjointed as a team at times, but at least they have skill. But even so I don't believe that I've ever seen a Liverpool team play so many very poor passes before that didn't get within 20 yards of one of their own players.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hughes go there in the New Year, a much better option for him than going to Bolton.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Pretty much agree other than I would be very surprised to see Hughes go to Liverpool.

As said previously, the number of sendings-off & penalties that Liverpool get is suspiciously high. The "big club" factor seems not to have yet realised that they're no longer an automatically big club.

The surrounding of the ref, not least by the keeper 70 yards from the action, wass pretty typical of the waiter's teams, however.

Disturbing from the point of view of Liverpool and, more concerningly England, is that one of the 2 indisputably top-class players they have, Stevie Me (he's a diver and a cheat, you know) is proving to be finding it difficult to shake players off and impose himself until the ref's come to his aid.

Time to take this thread from atop the mantlepiece, blow the dust off it and renew it with some vigour eh?

Though our subject this time is not Rafa, but is Liverpool connected, so i thought why not?

Tom Hicks Jr quits the board in the wake of an alledged row with a supporter.

Apparently Hicks Jr emailed a Liverpool supporter with the instructions to "Blow me, f**kface. Go to hell, I'm sick of you".

If true, that is possibly the greatest piece of prose written.

Americans really have a gift for swearing.

In the fan's defense though, as soon as I saw that picture of Hicks Jr. I immediately wanted to punch him in the face.

Really? It's not noticeable from that. "Blow me, feck-face" is fairly mundane in the swearing stakes.

Still it gives the Liverpool lot something else to have a minutes silence for, I suppose.

Shame the board didn't Junior properly, in the face of unwarranted abuse from "fans"

Apologies, Shankly... They're pathectic because they're living so gleefully in the past. You're not allowed any credit for current form, accolades or trophies because nobody has 'Liverpools past'

Their version of history started in about 1960 and ended in 1991. Different parameters you see.

It's amazing that someone could have a major role with a major business interest and be too dumb to realize that "blow me f*** face" is better communicated verbally than in writing.
