Sigh. Another porno delivery for Bruno!Bruno wrote:Our postman shocked me before by knocking on and delivering the mail. I think he was after a hot drink, the cheeky bastard.TANGODANCER wrote:Taxis sure won't be getting down the side roads here. There's a good foot of snow on the lawns and, although it's eased off some, it's still coming down. Went to the local shop earlier for bread and milk (stock-up). No papers today, no milk deliveries and Warburtons delivered three hours late. Shelves emptied in no time. Took the dog out earlier and he's such a short-ass he almost disappeared. Not good at all and reinforces my views that snow is fine in paintings and on Christmas cads.

Oh, don't get me started. Too late.Lord Kangana wrote:S'alright Tango, I was reading in the paper yesterday an Oxfordshire Councillor blaming the people (who I suspect elected him to do a job) for "not having the spirit that defeated Hitler". I'll translate, what he actually meant was "We've f*cked up spectacularly with our short-sighted approach to everything, so you'll just have to all fend for yourselves. Pass me my guaranteed pension would you".
Placards for the MEN are announcing - Council Chief Angry at School Closures. Really? Whose fault's that then?
And Our Kid informs me that some dick from Bolton Council is in tonight's BEN saying that they have "plenty of grit". Oh a fecking fat lot of good it'll be doing as well, piled up at Mayor St Yard when Crompton Way's down to one lane.
I'm glad that, as a yonger man I spent a couple of years working for BMBC, so that I could actually get to see these wankers operate at close quarters, otherwise I'd be reluctant to believe that they really exist!

Luckliy despite having the best part of a foot of snow on my street, I've made it from Worsley to Sale every day this week. Tuesday I had to walk 3 miles to the edge of the motorway where a colleague could pick me up, but I made sure I got in under any circumstances... Maybe I'm alone in being a good worker

I've never even seen a grit waggon at close quarters for years (at least, not anywhere near my house) .Bruce Rioja wrote: [

What, all twenty feet of it? Why, I have to drive my Bentley nose up to the garage doors to shut the garden gate.Dujon wrote:With your extensive lawns, trout stocked lake and tree lined driveway, TANGO, I'm not all surprised.TANGODANCER wrote:I've never even seen a grit waggon at close quarters for years (at least, not anywhere near my house) .
