Oh look, it's Headingley all over again.

Some of these dismissals have been shocking. I love KP, but I still don't understand how he managed to do what he did.

Only thing we have to cling to: If they can do it, so can we. Not exactly like S.A are a bad side though.

A truly ridiculous day's cricket. The players should be ashamed of themselves. Not one good ball in that bunch. To be bowled out in 40 odd overs in a test match is dispicable. Everyone came out to tee-off from ball one. Why? Has Flower asked them to bat positively and they have taken it a little too literally? Trott epitomised this with his swinging from the hip from ball 1, and even Collingwood cleared the ropes twice in his innings. Utter shite - as the old saying goes, it's difficult to win a test match on the first morning, but you can sure as hell lose one. What happened to batting properly ffs.

Take heart my hearties. Whilst S.A. is not Pakistan, look at what the Australians achieved in their last test match. All it needs is a bit of luck and a faith in yourself. Hopefully. Good luck.

Good solid start. Need to up the tempo to full washout though.

Disagree - we need to keep it steady and rain through the day. If we go too big too soon then the cricket will be back on before we know it. We need Collingwood rain here - miserable drizzly shit for 2 days rather than 30 minutes of it bouncing off the roof Pietersen-style and then the sun coming out when the little cameo is over.
