I had a right child genius on the way back from Burnley. I was in a proper upbeat mood naturally and gets to this junction and chose not to tel the Jag parked on the right hand side swing out in front of me. I stopped my car right next to his passenger door, cue finger signals and general "wtf" comments.
Thing is, I did actually have right of way. And I probably was being a bit of a c-word not letting him out, but I don't really see why I should get abuse for holding by right of way. He essentially cut me up, and could easily have waited and gone behind me as there was no bugger there.

That's generally the case. I don't mind letting folks out, but if it's my right of way, it's on my terms not there's.hisroyalgingerness wrote:I had a right child genius on the way back from Burnley. While we're on the subject, rights of way full stop. People are beyond cluless it seems these days as to what constitutes one. Like if theres a row of parked casr on your side of the road, its your hazard, and if I'm coming the other way, its my right of way. Its not difficult.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
