What are you watching tonight?

Watched Mesrine part 1 last night, fecking excellent, think I'll be on part 2 tonight. Might have a man crush on Vincent.

Today I watched the latest episode of Skins. Normally it's light hearted, quirky and mildly amusing enough to watch in a spare hour, but the latest one is excellent. Jack O'Connell is fantastic, properly, brilliantly fantastic. Definately one to watch.

Thought you'd love it - glad that you did.

Tell No One.

Been putting it off for ages, mostly because everyone's been telling me how good it is. Which usually disappoints. It didn't. I might start taking advice again in future.

yeah thanks for the reccy, although im not sure what kind of sick minded degenerate you think i am that you thought it was up my street!

its undoubtedly a genius film, but not enjoyable watching! cant think of another film where i was curled up grimacing and hiding behind my knees so much! its effecting too, i had a nightmare the other night of Sarah Goldfarms grinding teeth! (Ellen Burstyn stole the show btw!) and i didnt think that little girl from the Labyrinth would turn out like that!

class, but i wouldn't recommend it to my mum!

Tonight im watching 'Take me Out'

Its an absolutely brilliant show, hilarious and original format, funny endearing contestants, & a witty charismatic presenter - what more could you want?

You get 30 beautiful classy intelligent women against one fella who is usually very dapper looking chap with a sharp amusing persona - and basically he has to impress these women with his charm, dazzling dance moves and talented skills.

Each round the girls buzz themselves out when he does something that 'turns them off', untill there is one girl left, then heres the twist... she goes on a date with him!!!!

genius.

Than God you put the smiley at the bottom... I was going to find out where you live, take your TV off of you until you deserve it back, then proceed to throw glass bottles at your house whilst shouting abuse at your neighbours

I'd have done what John Cussack does to Dan Akroyd with the telly in Grosse Pointe Blank, myself. I believe they call it a commensurate response.

I think that's being kind, how many times did they think they could get away with a jumpy moment of the Wolf appearing from an unexpected direction? Obviously about 40.

Not quite the last
When I read that it used the word f*ck more times than any other movie (376) I decided to give it a miss. Although I enjoyed 4 weddings which began with nothing but that word...

Quite possibly, General. The requisite patience to sit through films is something that I've only acquired in recent years.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, a really good story superbly well acted, though a couple of the more violent scenes had me looking away.

The Deer Hunter, eh? Still not worked out the purpose of the wedding scene. It just seems long and pointless to me.

yeah its great, could almost be a sequel to Goodfellas - all the actors play the same roles! but i love anything 'Vegas' anyway.

I think the DH wedding scene i just to introduce you to the characters, and highlight the fact they are all hard drinking Russian immigrants? id love to go a wedding like that! :D

... amazing to think John Cazale was completely addled with Cancer in his scenes, probably in a world of pain - but was still un-noticeable. poor fella was dead before the film was in the can!

I agree with Bruce that the Deer Hunter is a bit overindulgent at times. I'll differ in that I think Casino is sh*t. Its like Guy Ritchie running out of ideas after Lock, Stock, regurgitating the same stuff, just one cliche after another. Goodfellas and The Godfather covered everything that needed to be said on that front.

I've yet to see the Mesrine films, its on the must-buy list. The website is fookin slick, mind (well it will be when they finish it, lazy French b*stards....)

Why am I about to do this to myself?

I should see a Doctor. Or a psychiatrist.

Here goes.

Last night, I was playing ProEvo (very manly, I point out) while my girlfriend watched Glee.

I confess.

I laughed. I heard some of it, and watched some of it, and laughed.

There. I've said it.
