And Did Those Feet

Post by farnworth scum » Thu Mar 11, 2010 10:21 pm

I've just come back from watching this at The Octagon theatre, its the story of some Boltonians around the 1923 FA cup final. I'm not gonna go into the story because I cant be arsed but its a great moving, funny account of being a Wanderers fan. Glory hunter fans should be made to watch this to make them realise football is about supporting yer hometown team and thats yer lot, blimey I cant wait for Saturday COYW!!!!

Bizarre really, I'd heard the writers were both United fans.

Glad you enjoyed it. :-)

We watched it a few years back, it's really good and I'd recommend it to everybody.

I'm going on wednesday, if work doesn't get in the way (again).

Either way I bet he's one of these Bolshevik types. Busy writing his play when he should be teaching folk.

They should install those paper towel dispensers along the corridors of Bolton Uni, signed - 'Media Studies Degrees - Please Take One'.

Yeah - mind you there's not much marking to do on Meejah Studies Degrees the answer is A+ - so probably plenty of spare time anyhow.

well, I'm not going - I live too far away - is it on the telly? is there a stream somewhere?

I, for one, hope the audience turns out and supports it properly - can't expect those actors to perform with a half-empty theatre and people muttering by interval and calling for the understudy to be brought on... these Bolton theatre-goers are a disgace, they really are....
