What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Has to be Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire for me. Just tea tonight though as it's a school night (or is everyone off except for me? :? )

Have a try of Hendrick's Gin if you can find it - somewhat cucumbery but rather good with a bit of lime.

Sounds nice. Just as long as it doesn't have that awful saltyness that so many gins tend to have

Don't think it does, but I wouldn't claim to be an expert. Mind you, I heralded Robinson's arrival after an extended run out at Tynecastle, so what would I know?

Feck school nights (it's not as if I'm going to get rumbled at a parents evening, is it), I'm having a bottle of Edelweiss weissbier tonight. A bargain at a quid in Asda at the moment - as is their porter which I'll probably guzzle tomorrow.

Thats OK William. I'm just having a nice glass of Cremant de Limoux. Just after a very entertaining evening at th'Octagon, courtesy of your good self. I also had a G&T at half time.Hats off to one and all.

But really, red with blue cheese?

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Tanqueray is the daddy when it comes to the old gin im afraid. beeeeautiful!

I have been developing a palette for the rum of late, the Caribbean dark variety. Started of with Morgans Spiced, Havana Club etc, but now discovered a few gems (courtesy of Hula in manc) Mount Gay is good and available in Tesco, but my favourite is 'Chairmans Reserve' which a mate fetched me back off his hollibobs - and i just discovered today they sell it in John Lewis, so i went a picked a couple of jugs up. on its own with plenty of ice - cant beat it!

Image

apparently coming to Waitrose next month too wherever one of them is?

asked for some Admiral Rodney for me birthday!

Waitrose is all south of us (I think the furthest north is in Cheshire). Consequently we live in the cultural wasteland between Booths in the North and Waitrose in the South.

I'm pretty certain that someone told me that the JL in the Trafford Centre has a drinks bit, though not sure about food.

Well it's open 24 hours a day so it'll help him through the wee small hours.

Curiously enough the manager of said Asda is one John McGovern. Can any reader beat that?

Oh, and there's two Waitroses in Edinburgh - in the posh bit.

But there still isn't a Waitrose round here, and I'm not sure if JL sells alcohol in the Trafford centre.

I have black pudding and I have chicken breasts. I want to stuff the latter with the former but apart from that have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

Look, I know it'll be generic, but i'm going to the weatherspoons curry deal, two courses and a pint for (I think) £5.99.

Then I'll have another pint.

I work late most thursdays, and it's a good excuse for a weekly pub visit with friend and fellow trotter, Le chef... who is also up for generic jal ferezi...

I'd probably see the doctor regarding the first sentence and your personal councellor regarding the second.
