Eat your hearts out you woolly minded liberals there's another one to add to your conscious.
Reckon the total of innocent hanged is out weighed by miles now of innocents murdered!

in which countries where there is the death penalty is the murder rate significantly better than than in the UK?

In the USA the joke is 20yrs on death row, now if anyone wants to get upset at torture.......
There would in the first year be quite a few hangings which at 25 quid a throw should more than pay for the cost AND go in a fund if the odd innocent one drops. Our resident legal Eagle would probably some where come across some figures relating to how many innocents have been dropped or incarcerated since year X when records started (If not they should be made to find out as a reminder of their obligations and responsibility) otherwise I guess I'd better start researching.

Ain't New York's now lower than London per capita? I surmise that due to pressure from various groups and countries (including no doubt a large bunch of blackmail over aid or finance packages from the big financial hitters) a large number of countries like our own have stopped the drop and those that remain are the worlds badlands so not really a fair comparison.
I would put money on a massive reduction in Murder and serious crime within 2-3 years if we got serious with all the murderers, rapists, Pedo's and brain dead street gang members who think the law does not apply to them, lets clear one thing up I do not want a police state, merely the rights of the majority of peaceful law abiding (well mainly) citizens to be enshrined as number one priority.
Good luck with that. Studies in the States show when states abolish/re-introduce the death penalty, there is no real change in crime levels. It doesn't work as a deterrent, and the idea that it does is so very outdated. Then all you've got is some sort of karmic they 'deserved it' level of punishment. That abstract sense of righteousness 'justice' can never be worth even one human life in my view.

The crux of your post seems to be that he should never have been allowed to harm anybody else. I think many would agree, but there the issue isn't the death penalty, it's the severity of prison sentences. Many more would agree often they are too light. This guy for instance seems to have absconded 4 times whilst on home release, why he is getting four chances at that I'm not sure. Prison has to, in my view, balance the two responsibilites of rehabilitation, and protecting society. Many would, perhaps rightly, contend that the latter should take upmost priority, but surely rehabilitation must be an aim where possible? All I'm left with as an argument for the death penalty over, life imprisonment say, is a sense of moral righteousness, and cost. I wouldn't want to put a price on human life myself, and I personally don't see why prisoners couldn't be put to work.

So - you think all of these should be hanged... And, you think that... and it would be such a quintessential plant hobo 'solution'... their goods might form a fund specially set up for the families of the totally innocent if they are killed by the state... Like that is fair does all round... And, best of all... You think this is a form of justice??? :lmfao:
I suppose you can share your laughter with the blokes "lover" or sister and other family members William.
The reason I prefer the death penalty is it stops b*ggers like you from letting out these "model" prisoners because they are really soft misunderstood people accorded more rights than the dead they killed!
If life meant life not 8-10 years on average and sky TV etc was off the prison agenda then I'd bang on a lot less for the rope or bullet.

can you be specific - because this is often said. What "rights" in particular are victims of crime denied by the state?

Hobo, don't worry about dressing it up

Just say you want the bastards dead

It's your right to an opinion, however much the real ale, tweed jacket (with elbow patch, of course) classes wish to decry your opinion

Cos I just want 'em dead too

i don't need to justify it, ort argue it

Tis just the way I feel

And I expect I always will

Will it reduce crime, maybe, maybe not, but then that's not why I want them dead
Sto ut Serviam

Spitting.

Folk who think its ok to gob on the pavement, or even the platform at tube stations like this lunchtime, err i mean dinner time – makes me feel like pushing the filthy cvnt in front of the next train!

I know its horrible sometimes when you have a mouth full of mucus, but ffs spit it in a tissue or a bin at least.

You even see some chavvy wankers just dangling saliva from their mouths for the sake of it, like every few minutes.

Diiiiiiiirty bastards.

want shooting, the lot of em.

It's a particular bugbear of mine, but I'm going to carry on ranting. Fecking advertising. I've shouted at bullsh*t science, how about general bullsh*t. New Barclaycard advert, 'some ponce tw*tting about down a street buying stuff and getting 'rewards' on his card' followed by a voiceover of 'freedom is the new rewards system on your barclaycard'. No it isn't. Stop trying to sell me concepts when all you are selling is carpet, or shoes. 'Contentment is the new pizza express blah blah' Do fook off, and stop lying to me.

'ere, pru - (looks nervously over shoulder) - wanna buy some concepts? - (looks shifty) - a pony will get you two ounces of freedom - (twitches maniacally) - a ton for 3 grams of wellbeing...

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

 Today I'm angry (totaly feckin furious actualy), about fecking knobhead traffic cops stopping me on my bike (cycle); to tell me I'm not that visible in my black jacket (altura, with flourescent flashes, and had my lights on 'cos it's pissin down) and could be a danger to other road users!! Tossers!!. I argued I didn't see them pulling over black or dark coloured cars to berate the drivers; but the miserable bstrds weren't going to have a debate on the ethics of picking on potential roadkill, whilst ignoring a woman who drove past using her mobile phone. (or it could have been an electric razor).

Did you ask them which "law" you had actually broken?
There are enough H & S busyboddies about without our poor underpaid and overworked Cops having to waste their time from nicking 31 mph "speeders"!
BTW your average traffic cop has no sense of humour, is arrogant as feck and has a brain the size of a pea!
