You need Cranberry juice or a prostate check, my friend.

When I was going to Donnington it was bottles, BOTTLES of piss!
I hate all big outdoor concerts for this reason, i just wont go to them anymore! Glastonbury would be my worst nightmare. I would also struggle living like a sewer rat for several days, and im quite fussy where i lay cable the best of times! - ive never been but it appears to be full of absolute bellends? and also looks a bit too commercial and mainstream to be that much fun? Jay Z, Kylie, Snoopy dog etc??? but I also cant be doing with all these silly named, skinny jeans wearing identikit 'indie' bands, who all look and sound exactly the friggin same either! not for me.

First time there and won't be the last. Had a great time. Hard to pick a best overall act though Os Mutantes (Sergio Dias=God) and Richard Thompson did not disappoint, and the Leisure Society and Midlake were surprise winners. Thumbs up also to Field Music, I Am Kloot, and Jesca Hoop. I also found myself enjoying Dizzee Rascal and the Scissor Sisters despite myself. Gorillaz was OK but overlong and I wish I'd gone to the Flaming Lips instead.

I also noticed two DJs called Tango and Ratty doing a set!!

:pissed: Anyone remember Deeply Vale? The fall in '78; good old days. I tried to upload some photo's but I'm such a t*at when it comes to anything technical. So if anyone's interested you'll have to google it.

Tractor!

I have a copy of Tractor's "The Dandylion Years Through to Deeply Vale and Beyond" on my iPod.

I'll listen to it again this afternoon.

Then remember why I never play it...

1. He's a legend!

2. Get his name right ;)

He easily had one of the best sets over the weekend, and put some life in to the Gorillaz performance that they needed.

Well it wasn't me, that's for sure, but I didn't bother finding out given the time they were on!

Awesome weekend, good music, weather and cider!

Chose to watch Grove Armada at the last minute on Friday night - did not regret it whatsoever! Fantastic set, other highlights were Stevie Wonder, Snoop and Muse.

Honorable mentions to Dizzee and Rolf too.

Same with me and Massive Attack at a festival some years back. It was one of those might-as-well-being-as-I'm-here decisions. Unbelievable how good they were.

Watched a bot of Glasto on the box and have to say it looked brilliant. Really looking forward to seeing Muse at oxygen next week now :)
