the Nolan goal in the montage was our goal from that game - a 6-man passing move to slice them open like a kipper...

their equaliser was a scabby deflection off Clichy's (or similar!) arse if i remember rightly....

yeah - like we always do at the emirates!! best result there so far is the 1-1 cup game.... I can't see that being bettered - in fact - as we all know - it'll be considerably worsed!

dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!!!
Is that, and last year the only times we've even scored there? I've been twice, the 1-1 being infinitely better that the 86th minute 1-0 fecking Bendtner winner. My second worst away game ever after the 1-0 89th fecking minute Igor Biscan winner at Anfield. THough in fairness they had Scott Carson in net that day, so the nil is pretty embarrassing.
Nah we scored there in Allardyces last season, Anelka scored IIRC. Then Nicky Hunt fecked up and we ended up losing 3-1 I think. We were still chasing a champions league spot then, though it was probably the limpest chase imaginable.
Didn't we loose this game 2-1 and Toure handed the ball in 85th min.

Oops. Walcott stretchered off in Basel. Let's hope he's back on his feet in a couple of weeks time.

I am going to this! Hoorah.

Walcott has just been carried off in the England game....so Robbo may be less embarrassed than he otherwise may be.

I predict a 2-0 defeat - I don't see us scoring unfortuanately, but the way we are at the moment there is hope.

Anything here is a bonus, can see us scoring but can't see us having enough to draw/win. Until their inevitable break-down in March the press will keep on running with the old 'Arsenal could still grab title' nonsense and their deluded fans will keep their 'In Arsene We Trust' banners up. Can't be doing with Arsenal at all, a club with an annoying mindset (that whole, every club is out to cripple our players) and almost as many plastic fans as Manchester United. So I'd love us to get something down there but I can't see it.

i'm going 2-1 to the Arse, 1-0 down after 10 mins, shock equaliser from Elmander in the 80th minute, followed by a Fabregas winner 1 minute later :?

Slow on the pick up here, the bish, but thanks for that compilation. Of all of them that totally magic night at Highbury when we knocked the holders out of the cup is a memory amongst the very, very best. Apart from anything else it brings back the days when the FA Cup really mattered - and that competition has given me more delight, i think, than even the successful promotions, Europe, whatever...

Would love a win this week, and it certainly doesn't hurt with both Walcott , and RVP out. If Fabs still doesn't return to form who knows.

The only thing I demand is beautiful football!

If we make a late challenge at the other end of the pitch I probably won't see it but anything short of red cards and penalties for their fouls will be completely out of order.

Seems Walcott's injury isn't very serious after all and might even be able to return by next Wednesday. Isn't that good news.

I'm predicting Kevin Davies to be fouled 37 times, by defenders instructed by Ars-e Wiggler to take him down.
If I were OC I'd bring off Super Kev at some point and stick on Blake or Ivan to confuse 'em.

Not sure about the score tho'...

Mebe 1-2 the Whites.

We'll get feck all out of this game. Vermaelen will literally have to shoot Davies to concede a free-kick. I'm hoping for a good show, but I don't think we'll get near a point.

Sadly I think you're right - in fact I am surprised that arsehole Wenger hasn't already been in the papers bemoaning our rugby tactics. I think that we'll get sweet nowt all day long on Saturday, yet they'll get free-kicks and penno's aplenty.

A day too early. He'll speak tomorrow - kerfuffle on Friday - on the Ref's mind, Saturday.
May the bridges I burn light your way
