I never said he was clearly to blame, did i you silly c*nt! My point was if it was Robinson or Elmander you would of all had your snipers out!norm the jedi wrote:Yes he was clearly entirely to blame... the two centre halves watching the ball they were underneath leaving two arsenal attackers unmarked 6 yards out inside the frame of the goals should be applauded for their class...Sir Nut wrote:We should of been dead and Buried anyway, we was only in the game from an awful mistake by them, brillaint comporsure from Lee and Excellent positioning from Elmander! And for post #100...He wasn't non-existant. I would call you a clown, but that's an insult to Bobo. As others have said, he was right in the game, "putting it up 'em", until the whole side collapsed when Cahill got sent off. Stop beating the same old drum, you're a long way past boring.Sir Nut wrote:Every feck game when he's non exsistant! for 89 mins!Prufrock wrote:He's right Davo was partly at fault. Lazy to get out and played them onside. Defenders then lost their men. That said Mr Nut is like a stopped clock. Keep criticising Davies he's bound to make a balls up eventually.norm the jedi wrote:Yes he was clearly entirely to blame... the two centre halves watching the ball they were underneath leaving two arsenal attackers unmarked 6 yards out inside the frame of the goals should be applauded for their class...Sir Nut wrote:We should of been dead and Buried anyway, we was only in the game from an awful mistake by them, brillaint comporsure from Lee and Excellent positioning from Elmander! Couldn't help that, sorry
I dont what fecking game you guys watch, once again who was in the position to bang in the header? It wasnt mr tower Davies was it! No Brain no Goal! Every time we smashed it up to Davies everytime we lost it, everytime we lost it it everytime Arsenal got Posession, everytime Arsenal got posession Everytime our defenc e has to defend an attack a boring vicous circle that eventually catches up with our defence they can only do so much, if there was no Davies we would be forced to play it from the back, if we played it from the back we would keep possesion, if we have the posession they cant create chances, if they dont create chances (or as many) they are less likely to score.Hoboh wrote:Sir Nut wrote:Every feck game when he's non exsistant! for 89 mins!Prufrock wrote:He's right Davo was partly at fault. sounds like some more controversy at the emirated but unlike last time it didn't make too much difference. by all accounts we were soundly beaten and i'm hardly surprised. if coyle carries on with this cavalier attitude against sides that are clearly better than us then we could get into trouble.
cannot see anything but more of the same against villa and united.

no sorry .. losing arguably your best defender and going 25 minutes with 10 men , 9 really as Andy O'Brien was on.. can't really be described as not making too much difference.. We may not have won but we were living with them and perfectly capable of getting something up until the red card..James B wrote:sounds like some more controversy at the emirated but unlike last time it didn't make too much difference. by all accounts we were soundly beaten and i'm hardly surprised. if coyle carries on with this cavalier attitude against sides that are clearly better than us then we could get into trouble.

Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham
Spot on, he doesnt adapt. Put it behind. Not many mid-table sides will get anything at the Emirates. Their tackling was efficient and obviously ref-free of any judgement. Ref was never going to give us anything. Passing excellent as was the finishing and we had ten men again, losing a central defender to boot. Get our points against lesser teams and don't be too down in the mouth about losing to top sides. Onwards.
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?
Erm what did we play then?officer_dibble wrote:We didn't play 442 today yer knowJames B wrote:sounds like some more controversy at the emirated but unlike last time it didn't make too much difference. by all accounts we were soundly beaten and i'm hardly surprised. if coyle carries on with this cavalier attitude against sides that are clearly better than us then we could get into trouble.

I'll have my little say,
Bogdan is a very good keeper.
I didnt expect to get a point, however we were in the game and the ref as we have seen on numerous occasions decides its time to help out one of the ''big'' clubs. lee was fouled, cahill's tackle was not a sending off, i would like to think that a few of the arsenal players had been giving the verbles probably along the lines of you are not good enough to join arsenal, cahill decides that on the touchline he can dump the player to the ground and may be a booking, he didnt count on this ref.
move onto the next game,
oh yes
appeal cahills red,

Correct. The attitude we took into the game wasn't "Cavalier" in the slightest. We played with heart, we played with belief. There were a couple of defensive lapses to let Arsenal in for goals #1 and #2, but apart from that, we were right in the game. A very different, and much better game than we would have experienced under the defense-and-nothing-else approach of the previous management...norm the jedi wrote:no sorry .. losing arguably your best defender and going 25 minutes with 10 men , 9 really as Andy O'Brien was on.. can't really be described as not making too much difference.. 4-5-1 in the first half, with Elmander just behind SKD, and 4-3-3 in the second, with Lee seeming to play CF, Elmander and SKD in wider supporting roles. 4-3-2 when Cahill was sent off. If you didn't have your eyes firmly fixed on SKD, watching out for every little mistake or phase of play you don't agree with, you might have spotted that.Sir Nut wrote:Erm what did we play then?officer_dibble wrote:We didn't play 442 today yer knowJames B wrote:sounds like some more controversy at the emirated but unlike last time it didn't make too much difference. by all accounts we were soundly beaten and i'm hardly surprised. if coyle carries on with this cavalier attitude against sides that are clearly better than us then we could get into trouble.

Yes, it was a battering, but there's no way we would have suffered that scoreline had we not had to reshuffle following a sending off. We were right in the game, and I can't believe how many folk are kidding themselves that we were on for this anyway.CAPSLOCK wrote:Bruce is reet that it doesn't matter
But, I can't believe how many folk are kidding themselves that it was anything but a battering
Picked a poor team and got all we deserved
How similar was the tackle to Joe Cole vs Arsenal? Didn't have a good view of it on my stream, only saw one crap replay.
