See, Norm, had we lost 4-1 away at Wolves then I'd say you'd have a point.

Losing 4-1 at Arsenal is hardly a result that will mould our season, but i would like to hear OC's comments regarding a few of the decisions.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Do try and keep up CAPS. He selected Petrov because he's head and shoulders above any other options...

yeah. he's good. carnt see why some fans have this 'hate' for him (maybe its the backchat he give to some during the height of the "megson out" era , i dunno) some haters even discount his penalties off his tally "he only got five last season" like bolton get loads of them . but that's by the by. the dude gets goals .

he can be 'shit' for 80 minutes , but score twice. the jammy git. thats the kinda stuff i'd shove on the teamsheet.

i suspect the stats prove him to be good as well, even though he seems like one jammy git , its probably coz he working his arse off while we're not taking notice.

Mark Davies? Left Wing?

And you question Coyle?

got a sneaky feeling that caps didn't picture m davies as a left winger in a 4-4-2 when he came up with him as an alternative

just a sneaky one

Check any of my posts fella, I'm a fan of Matt Taylor have been since he scored that goal against Everton for Pompey. I just think in terms of crossing and pace Petrov has the drop on him.

That's what he'll say too.. Even though, the chat was about who else to play on the left wing. Otherwise, it'd be a conversation about systems instead of personnel. Which isn't relevent to the post

I'm all for bringing Megson back if it'll shut the spirit crushingly joyless minority up.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Nope, Megson was also spirit crushingly joyless. You deserve each other. Forever and ever in joylessness. A-McCann.

Owen got a bit riled during the highlights understandably. Said the team need to defend as a unit more, he's got a point Moobs and CYL along with a whole host of others at fault for 1st goal, the defence asleep fro the second and by that point we were always going to concede more.

He's been his usual charming self, good to see we have a manager with a bit of charisma and not unhappy to point out our faults

Coyle is an idiot! End of! We are constantly under pressure becauase we give the ball away to easy with his style of play, he fails to see our problems and blames it on the defence after they defended about 50 attacks yesterday, this guy is a motivator not a manager, im starting to lose total faith in him! When he starts to blame the defence! If we kept the ball and played it from the back a few times without smashing it to the blob all the time, then we might be under less pressure!

Are you basing your analysis on MOTD highlights again?

We DID play on the deck yesterday. Arsenal do it better. We played some long balls yesterday too (so did Arsenal). This is a team in transition from the days of Megson. He bought most of the players yesterday but couldn't get them to perform.

We've played three London teams so far and had a magnificent comeback against Birmingham. We've got 5 points from 4 games and a not insurmountable goal deficit. Yesterday for the first half we matched Arsenal more or less chance for chance. We all kno w what happened in the second half.

Now give it a rest because your opinion (although you're perfectly entitled to express it) is f*cking boring.

What a load of total shite.

We conceeded those goals because defensively we weren't good enough and that is as a whole team as OC points out.

We had a decent amount of possession when we had 11. But Arsenal are much better and when they have possession we have to stop them from creating the chances and we couldn't do that.

It could of been 8 before the sending off! We didnt have hardly any possesion the only possesion we had was in the air when we smashed it up. The defence can only stop so many attacks, i can tell you have never played football. The defence will make mistakes if its continuelly attacked every other minute!
