Ref let some really scything tackles go from Villa, Downing has got into a reall dirty xxxx and if Davies deserved ayellow, then fair enough, so did about four Villa defenders. Great point and a superb goal from Super Kev. Bogdan must have been a bit unsighted as, for me, Jussi would have got that one.

Awful management when we have no counter attacking players on the pitch apart from maybe Petrov. When teams play a high line we have no idea what to do, where best wehn teams score against us and then sit back.

Great goal from KD. Better from Petrov and CYL. Still not convinced about Holden, Mark Davies looked much more composed when he came on. Less ghastly mistakes from the defense but Robinson and Knight need to learn to judge the bounce better. They keep letting the ball go over their heads. Muamba his usual self. Bogdan is a jem. Some good play from Elmander but disappeared for large spurts and really should have put away that goal CYL put on a plate for him.

Lastly, so glad we were playing for a win.

I can name three games this season alone where your least favourite player has got us out of a sticky patch with his "at least something" footballing.

Megson, but for the exact same reason why we dont go infront nowadays or put the pressure on first. For us to score first we have to get a massive piece of luck, i hated the fact that Megson left Davies on when we where 1 or 2 up with 30 mins ago. Instead of putting a quick counter attacking player player on just to give the other team something to think about when their throwing caution to the wind, that was one of Megson few flaws and it cost him his job.
