What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Indeed. I'll just stick with the ones that I pick up at the butchers.

Well, I can tell you what I'll be eating tomorrow evening

• Morecambe Bay Potted Shrimps with Blade Mace Butter & Toasted Muffin
• Ribble Valley Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Horseradish Mash & Seasonal Vegetables
• Steamed Chocolate & Orange Pudding with Chocolate Sauce
• Coffee & Mints

I'd ask LK what 'blade mace butter' is, if he wasn't just some random bloke on a footie forum. :P

Mace is normally one of the spices you put in butter for potting shrimp (usually also includes orange, and some other stuff i can't remember).

No idea what Blade Mace is, unless its unground?

I googled it:

http://www.bartspices.com/static/spice- ... lade-mace/

Turns out I actually have some of this in my possesion. Methinks its just a poncey way of saying mace. A bit like that chemist down in London pronouncing Pulmo Bailly. You had to be there (say it like its French) I nearly cried.....

Cheers, LK, although I hadn't bargained on having tear gas for dinner. Still, it is in Blackburn.

This is what I first skimmed from your post.

Look on the bright side, that would easily have challenged sir nut for post of the century.

is that your wife's half-eaten pie - or the remains of a pie that your wife made? (either sounds good!)

It's the pie my wife made, the remains of which I consumed readily, having ingested a goodly proportion two days hence.

One definition of hence is: 'From this place; away from here: Get you hence!'

It could be argued it doesn't state in which direction. So ''two days hence'' could mean two days ago too.

I am of course clutching at grammatical straws, but I know I'm already losing the battle. You S.O.B.

I prefer the Doc Brown solution - with the magic car - than the slightly tenuous grammatical one! 8)

Hard life...

Kind off, Boris. We (work team) are at a Chamber of Commerce awards dinner being held at Ewood - Northcote are doing the catering. I thinks it's possibly the first time ever that I've spent the week looking forward to going there. :?
