Benitez .... prick

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I'm trying not to smirk at the fact that it wasn't in the script. The United fans at work are rejoicing like it's Christmas day
Pfffft.

Don't worry. Some fecker'll jump up and produce an obscure FA rule that says Liversausagepool's defeats aren't counted and they were Euro champions and should have an automatic top six place. As an aside. Can anyone remember the name of the slum district of Liverpool, okay the slummiest district of Liverpool in the post war years. Frankie Vaughan was supposed to have been brought up there. Carry on. 8)

Thanks but not that. If I remeber correcly it wasn't an actual name, more of a nickname for the area. Think it bordered on the river. 8)

Fazackerly, Gatacre or something?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Fazackerley's nowhere near the river, LK. I'd bet on Garston.

Frankie Vaughan was brought up on Devon Street - which is quite a way from the river..

The Piggeries fit's that bill. Tho NOT by the river & NOT where Frankie Vaughan was born.

It was an area of high rise flats in the Everton area of town.

Now ... what do you think is being said here ?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I know the area a little because I canvassed it on cold October nights during the second general election of 1974. It was a feckin grim place in the dark and wet.

My candidate - for the Workers Revolutionary Party - got about 500 votes so that was really well worth the effort.
