I am also doing good business with another anger-inducing sideline...

petrol stations that turn themselves into fully-blown supermarkets..

I don't mind petrols stations selling mars bars - milk - emergency anniversary flowers - maybe also logs and coal - nedwspapers - the opdd car-related product - fine

but NOT fully blown super-fecking-markets!

I went for petrol today - huge queues - caused by THREE out of the four pumps being used by people who stopped for petrol - then left their cars at the pumps whilst doing full weekly shops in the supermarket-cum-petrol-station.

when I finally did get to fill up - I had to queue for three days behind people with trolleys of food that did not fit on the tiny countertops to be bagged and paid for - and THEN - hours for wankers to order lottery tickets and then coffee and fecking warm pastries....

NOT HAPPY!

I've come to the inalienable conclusion that all coffee drinkers must die.

You clog up petrol stations (see above) you make me "just stop for a coffee" when driving, you "stop for a coffee" when shopping. You can't go to work without "having a coffee first".

In fact, you coffee drinkers have ruined every high street, airport, market, service station, shopping precinct/mall/area with the endless f*cking opportunities to "have a coffee"......

I, on the other hand, don't drink coffee. I think I'd prefer the company of a smack addict next time I'm out.

Most shopping malls here have a gas station but it is generally so far from the shops that people fill up then drive to them. I cannot imagine anyone ever leaving their car at a pump to go shopping (or what it would look like when they came back). Gas stations generally have a small convenience store attached, but people don't park at the pumps to go there - they fill up then park in front of the store. I find Bish's sad story extremely bizarre.

Got to back up Bish on this one. In fact most motorway service stations have these nightmare multistores, despite there being same goods on sale in the main buildings. My local BP flog hot food and freshly made coffe on top of everything youd find in a decent sized Tesco Metro. Right next door to my local Morrisons is a garage that also is a minimart. Asda Leyton Mills have the right idea, for me, card only filling station and no attatched shop. That's a good few hundred yards away. 8)

I was assuming from Bruce's "Tesco-isation" that there must be a verb "Tesco-ise".
