I remember Ricardo Gardner's of that season, slight little tap on the back and down goes the forward. It was just a simple case of Gardner being too fast!

I still contest that Warhurst didn't touch Robbie Savage for his sending off against Leicester.

Oh and Konstantinidis' sending off gave him the label Kostus Three Points 'As.

That Coyle either gets the team too pumped up (copyright Danny Murphy), refs have somehow got amazingly more mental in the last year or the formation/style we play leaves us more exposed to rash tackles/flashpoints.

Dunno really just trying to find something to talk about and the amount of red cards we have had seemed like a decent question! :o

I reckon refs are more card happy - see, Sir Kev of Davies' record
I think our senior players are not setting the best example - see Jussi
And I think some whingy foreign managers are starting to get their way, see Arse

About the Jussi red, someone told me Roger Johnson got slapped again the other day. Most slapped player in the league?

Fair play to Arsene, he said he agreed with Wilshires sending off the other day.

I don't mind red cards if we're trying to make the game cleaner, stop silly challenges and reduce injuries. I just don't like it when it seems to be a psychological ploy by the bigger teams trying to influence the officials when they play a smaller team.

Maybe it just shows we've more spirit and will to win.

Klasnic makes it three not one point in an up-and-at-em attempt to actually (shock horror) try and win a game. Cahill got sent off when we were chasing the game at Arsenal. Can you imagine it? Chasing the game at the Emirates! And Jussi was rash in an epic, spirited comeback against Brum. We'd have lost 1-0 in a similar scenario last year.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

It is though when the decisions he is complaining against are so apparently right/wrong. He should focus his energies on pulling down his sleeves

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

as a newly enlisted psychology student - i.e. last night with OU i'll just put my tuppence in - i think you can lay some of the blame for BWFc players getting sent off with opposition managers. How many times do you hear someone like Wengarse talking about the physical approach of Bolton ( i class them as men playing football not nancy boy puffs out for a non contact stroll on the green ) That constant referral to Bolton as being physical has to have an influence eventually

Aye but this has been going on for years. In fact the talk of the PL right now is that Bolton are changing their style.
