I've just watched 'Irreversible' by Gaspar Noe, and staring Vincent Cassel, who is probably my favourite actor!

Stone me that is one fooked up movie! Its all very twisted, surreal and weird, and takes some getting used to. but strangely compelling, despite the genuinely nauseating brutal violence! And that its French and the scenes are played out in reverse chronological order!

Definitely a good film, but i doubt id put myself through it again, unless i wanted to gage other peoples reations?

VC is superb tho, but not really a film the missus would enjoy...

Caps: you up to date with Nucky & pals? Quality int it!?
Lebowski is the most overrated film ever - that and The Hangover.

And Fargo.

We have recently watched all the box sets of this series but were beginning to think it had run its course after 8 years. We were wrong! The last two episodes have been really top class edge of the seat stuff. The best UK TV series bar none!
Really? The last two have been better but not a patch on the older series. The script writing is shocking. The dialogue is so unnatural and reads like a narration. Really unimpressed with this series. If Spooks loses the good writing then it just becomes a low rent version of 24.

Last night I watch the documentary "Sons of Perdition" about teenagers leaving the Polygamy sect in Colorado City. While it left questions I had unanswered it was still a disturbing look at the kids thrown out into the world from the Morman sect/cult run by the now jailed Warren Jeffs. Definitely worth a watch.

Really disappointed in this film, Al Pacino has made some right shite since Godfather 2. I can barely think of three decent performances from the man. He's too shouty and throughout HEAT I was praying for De Niro's character to shoot Pacino.

It's been OK, but the Lucas North sub-plot isn't half being dragged out. Still great fun though

Both parts of Mesrine last night. Good movie. Gripping study of the criminal as egomaniac. I thought they could have pushed the 'outlaw' sub plot a little further - but it did enough to lift the movie from a routine gangster flick. Recommend.

Got my first DVD through from LoveFilm and I haven't a bloody clue which they've sent me. Doesn't say on it anywhere and no paperwork came with it either. :?
