Might as well wait for the facts to come out before laying blame in any direction. However I expect to be hearing it from customers tonight so will have to make up a better statement than that.

Ahh, the old 'she was asking for it defence.' Thank you Rumpole of the Bailey.

Here's one for you though. The Bolton News - first for all the breaking stories!

I never said that.. I was merely asking the question as to why a girl is going to a bar on a Sunday night, leaving with a Premier League footballer and ending up at his apartment?[/quote]

I've been in pubs and chatted to people and been invited back to places for drinks/parties. I've never ended up face down in a swimming pool or forced into anything I've been uncomfortable with but I'd say that's how the evening started.

Very tricky this one. Best left to the rozzers I'd say.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I was thinking more of jumping straight to the sentencing.

'In light of recent revents with Messers Rooney, Lampard, Terry and that fox that mauled those kids I sentence you to.......'

To vote for the death penalty dial 0900 12 11 64
to vote for castration call 0890 811 8151
or to speak to Jimmy Wagg call 0161 228 2255

Sad that such a potentially serious offence gets so many frivolous comments.

If he is guilty then he is in serious trouble. If he is found guilty in court (and there is a difference) he will probably go to jail. If he is innocent (or is not found guilty) then he will get a lot of bad publicity for being a Premiership player who "is of interest" to the police, even though he will walk away and stay free.

Whatever is or isn't proven to be true it will seriously effect his future life and possibly his future at Bolton. Not sure why sports "personalities" put themselves into such situations, but I can't see why it should effect BWFC other than the press will look to see how the Club handle the current situation and what they do with respect to Klasnic's contract after the "verdict" is in.

When I was a Director of a large Defence Contractor in the UK I had a member of staff similarly charged, we decided to continue his employment until the courts made a decision. In his case he was found guilty, went off to jail and we then terminated his employment. I would expect Bolton to do the same if should he be found guilty of the offence.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

I think we all agree with that last sentence.

Still, there's a good debate to be had about the rights and wrongs of naming the involved parties before anything has gone to court though....

I agree with that, they should not be named, in the case I mentioned we kept it very quiet even though the Police informed us. But such a debate doesn't excuse many of the posts in this thread.
