Oh absolutely. As awesome as SKD was today I honestly have Holden down as being MotM. He was absolutely fecking immense throughout.

For me, he's been our MOTM, in almost every game I've seen him play for us.

Where do you start after a game like this ! Absolutely brilliant game of football.

Heroes all over the pitch but for me, KD, LCY and Cahill were all Giants out there today!! I want to see this game again, seated with a nice Red Stripe Beer in my hand. While watching it today, I could not sit down...so excited.

I believe that we are at the beginning of something very special at Bolton Wanderers. Long live OC.

Fantastic 2nd half - 1st half was poor though

Excellent performances all over the pitch 2nd half, can't think of anyone who disappointed today, for a spell 2nd half it was the best we've played for many a year we ripped Spurs apart with some high tempo passing football, we could have actually had 5 or 6 today - energy,the closing down and workrate was very good

Best performance from K Davies for a while, he had a very good game as did Holden (yet again - especially 2nd half), Cahill (was excellent), Steinsson (again - he's playing well at the moment) & LCY, and a great finish from Petrov to settle the nerves, you just knew he would score (but it was twitchy once they got back to 3-2

Muamba got better as the game went on but I thought both he & Holden were quiet 1st half.

Well done to the whole team & OC.... did the fans proud today !

Interestingly there's very ittle about Davies' goal being offside, absolute acceptance of the Lee penatly, no mention of the 2 others we should have got tho, and a belief that Huddleston stamped on the Elk ... unprovoked ... & that he'll get a retrospective ban.

There's some of the usual "Bolton bruisers" stuff plus some "... teams like them" ad, naturally THEY lost it, not WE won it. But overall quite interesting read.

Not enjoyed a match that much for a long time.

Suppose it does help when (a) the excitement is all at the end - so it sticks in the memory, and (b) we win!

Second half especially we were superb.

Steinsson, Robinson, Knight, Holden, Davies and Elmander were great throughout. Muamba, Lee, Cahill and Taylor were much better in the second. I think with Lee when he plays well we look so much more effective as an attacking unit....that ball through to Muamba (who did the hard bit) for his chance was delicious.

KEy moments were spazzy bringing on Pavluchenko, cos it opened the game up and Holdens tackle.

Other thoughts.....

Bale - one trick pony. Can't believe I was worried. He kicked it in the air once.

Huddlestone - be interesting to see if its brushed under the carpet. MotD picked it up.

We should of had a second penalty, similiar incident to Carragher last week, with Chungy flicking it up and Assou Ekoto (he;s shite) handling it to stop it.

Can't believe Elmander can't get a goal at the Reebok - everything but.

Chungy and Taylor did very good jobs on helping out full backs today - Taylor in particular wouldn't go forward in the first half for fear of not being able to get back.

The old Bolton (and it could be any Bolton from the last 10 years bar maybe the odd season) would have firstly settled at 2-0 and held, and certainly camped on our area at 3-2....not gone and got the crucial goal. We might be in transition style wise, and not be as much better off in terms of points as this time last year (was 1 point better before today I believe) but chasing the game, harrying, and trying to score when on top - this is Coyle's philosophy. And I'll have me some of that.

I'd be more worried about losing this Zat Knight fella we have than Cahill.

Jussi.......crosses......he's getting worse.

We worked on stopping Bale but accepted he would beat Steinsson for pace - so focussed on what he would do (nice person it across the box on the ground) and how to cut it out. Centre halves were sorted.

Holden - quickly moving into the 'best BWFC free transfers of all time' category. And that's some category!

Didn't see anything wrong with the first half myself, we dominated for a lot of it and Spurs were only on top for a few minutes at a time. Mainly just after the half hour whne Bale got a couple of crosses into the 6 yard box. Definitely not sh*te for me.

To be fair to Redknapp, he treated that question with the contempt it deserved.

Steinsson and Davies did thump him once each early in the game but nothing worth talking about, even though Davies was a little lucky not to get a Yellow for his tackle which was a tad late but not dangerous. Thought Redknapp's response was very good.
