when was the last time that Klas started for us in a league game?

Must have been last season sometime, can't remember or find proof.

Last game of the season 9th May 2010 - scored the winner vs Birmingham at home I think. Attendance 22,863 approximately.

Edit: 4-4-2 with Klas and Cyril upfront - both scored. Good omen?

Come on Wolves - let's shut this tin pot club up and get the win we need. If someone read out the phone book in that diabolical accent I'd be in hysterics. I'm calling it the 'W Factor' from now but tomorrow's game is a prime example of the sort of match that we lose just because the opposition need a win. Not because they're a better team or they 'want it more' just because that's the way the gods have decreed.

They've had bad luck, last minute losses, pens denied and find themselves at the wrong end of the table despite some good performances. Ha! Ha! Gud!

In truth - I've a good few mates who are fans of Wolves (and Albion and Villa) from my time living in Darlaston and Wednesbury...

In fact, my best mate down there had twin boys - one supporting Albion, the other Wolves... Bet Christmas was nice...

Same as every other fans - same proportion of dickheads and dreamers and that's fine...

However I have been advised that there is a small bar called the Bluebrick inside the Premier Inn hotel, located near to the railway station, which is being frequented by away fans. Also some away supporters have also been frequenting the Litten Tree in Victoria Street and the Goose in the City in Lichfield Street.

I remember the game and we slaughtered them IIRC - something like 4 or 5 to 1, with Nat getting a couple. It was the first time I saw Freddie Hill who was Nat's heir apparent. I think we had about five England internationals on that team (though they might not have played that day).

Well, I left the country in 1963 when we were in the first division. After that there was a forty year black hole until the internet brought me back into the fold - and there we were in the premier league (so no tears shed though a few anxious moments).

So Taylor or Petrov and who comes in if Elmander doesn't make it? I reckon Taylor is heading back towards the form of a couple of years back.Looked put out most of last season but seems to be playing with a spark and a smile having seen the impact Coyle has had on the team and recognised that if he applies himself he can be part of it.Petrov could have more impact as a last half hour man.
I'd expect Elmander to start even if he's not 100% simply because the way in which he and Davies close defenders down has been a huge part of the way wanderers have taken the initiative in so many games this season.Blake and Klasnic aren't fit enough to do it and Moreno too lightweight. Great impact players but definite shortcomings as starters.
