Now that's what you call a goal, :D if Ronaldo or Messi did that it would be world headline news. But why oh why has it taken so long for Elmo to show that kind of skill??? Absolutley fantastic, up there with Frankie's goal as the best ever scored by a Bolton player!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

I keep watching that over and over, and it still never loses its magic.

I know it's a bit soon to say this, but reckon we'll still be talking about that in 10 or 20 years' time.
... of course I may just be talking bo11ocks

It was a very good goal though - although not seeing it until after I'd heard about it, I was rather expecting it to be like that Ricky Villa goal against City?

I'd say it was better than Worthingtons goal (sorry W4E) in terms of technical ability it had everything.

Possibly the best "individual" goal we've scored for decades.

Absoultely unbelieveably good. If Messi or Pele or someone had scored it you'd see it on TV every fooking day for the next 3 centuries.

More I look at the replays I'm realising just what a goal this was. After all his great footwork skill Elmander still has a defender blocking his left and eventually just two feet of space between the goalies outstretched hand and the post, and that's exactly where he puts it. Incredible goal. Should be goal of the year.

The gif there doesnt quite even do it justice, as you only catch the briefest of glimpses of that first bit where he rolls the ball under his foot..

I could watch it all day.

Couldnt properly tell what he'd done from where I was sat it just looked as if he'd got the ball past a couple of defenders and finished well, but then seeing it on TV afterwards... wow! Absolutely immense goal, could well overshadow anything else he's done for us when the time comes to assess his Bolton career perhaps?

Watch MOTD go and overlook it in favour of Onuoha's goal yesterday in the Goal Of The Month competition
