Alright guys! How's it going? I'm Scoot from Nufc-forum.com Just wanted to get your opinion on the upcoming game.

Few Questions...

1) What will the outcome of the match be?
2) Which player should we fear most?
3) Which player do you fear most?
4) Who is your worst player?
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?
6) Which player should we look out for in the future?
7) Where do you think you will finish this season?
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season and whats your opinion on Newcastle United?
9) How long have you supported your club and What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?
10) What is your opinion on Owen Coyle and how he has done since becoming your manager?

You know, scoot, we've just had pretty much identical questions from our much-loved friends in Wolverhampton... Who has the copyright on these?

I'll give them a go myself later...

We fill these things in and then usually get slagged for not having 'entertaining' answers. It's right up there for me with 'you've got s**t support' or 'you can't fill your stadium'
Pfffft.

TK - As long as it entertains us, that's all that matters... i don't mind being slagged off by Wolves fans...

Or any others, including our friends from the Tyne if it happens...

In fact I especially look forward to the annual visit of Arsenal ones as we give them their annual toasting as they fail with the wind up...

Although everyone who answered him two years ago assumed the Toon would finish above us (doubtless megsonophobia or keaganphilia).

1) What will the outcome of the match be?

While I don't do predictions, I feel that Saturday is going to be a drab draw. We'll cancel each other out.

2) Which player should we fear most?
3) Which player do you fear most?

As I say to other clubs, neither club should fear any player. That sort of stuff is for deluded Modern Football Fans who go in for cock-measuring contests on internet fora.

4) Who is your worst player?

Nigel Jemson. He came for four matches back in the Eighties, had three touches, and looked nowhere near the kind of player that Division Three required. Two years later, Brian Clough had turned him into a Cup Final goal hero.

5) Who do you judge our worst player to be?

Shola Ameobi. It goes some when you're a poor man's Carlton Cole.

6) Which player should we look out for in the future?

My mate. Beat everyone playing beer pong at the weekend. Talk of him going to Vegas for the World Series of Beer Pong.

7) Where do you think you will finish this season?

Higher than I expected at the start of the season. That prediction of 12th-14th looks a bit conservative at the moment, but there's still a long way to go.

8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season and whats your opinion on Newcastle United?

About the same. I thought your ageing (central) midfield would be a bit out done this season, but they've equipped themselves well, back in the division where they've cut their teeth. Chris Hughton's done a good job. Your full backs are good both with and without the ball, and Andy Carroll's doing very well this season (although give it a couple of years, when he keeps giving big clubs a torrid time, then he'll get the tabloid battering Davies has enjoyed for years). I thought, had you given him time, Allardyce would have already had you back in Europe. He would have bored you to tears, but if you demand to be entertained, don't be surprised if the sporting acheivement bit gives way. But that's by the by now, because you're doing well this season.

9) How long have you supported your club and What do you think the Future holds for both clubs?

I've supported Bolton for thirty years. Unfortunately haven't been for about a decade due to being involved in semi pro football over 200 miles away.

Bolton's future (short term) - After their fans obligingly answer questions for an opposing club's website, they're called a pox to the game, evil, long ball thugs who have offered nothing to the English Game ever (usually from fans of clubs who have offered less), and that they're all evil, baby eating, inbred blots on humanity. And that Kevin Davies offers more to fair play than Jozef Fritzl does to the NCT. Happens every other week, why are you any different?

10) What is your opinion on Owen Coyle and how he has done since becoming your manager?

The man's lovely. Don't believe the press - he took the Bolton job because he obviously saw he had more of a chance of getting to where he did than he could have at Burnley. He's not an evil Judas scumbag. And his feelings are bearing fruit. Never got a bad word to say about anyone, unles he's been crossed first.

He's doing a great job, as you can see. He's getting the best out of players who were weighed down by the depressive nature of the previous manager, he's got us performing to the same levels as when we were under Allardyce, and he's made the club more respectable than at any point in the last ten years - which wasn't hard, considering that Gary Glitter has been considered more respectable than us over the past ten years.

1. 2-0 to us
2. I would have said Holden but after his goal at Wolves then Elmander!
3. I wouldn't like to bump into Joey Barton in the pub but on the pitch Carroll has been impressive so far this season.
4. They're all great. Our duffers are either in the reserves or we ahem, sold them a while back
5. Guitterez looked like he would be an exciting player for you but I've rarely seen an end product from him.
6. Hopefully, Tom Eaves. A young striker we signed from Oldham this summer.
7. About 14th
8. You'll be around there too. You've got years of mis management to put right (including some awful buys) so it will probably be a while before you are a force again.
9. Since 1974. If we can stay in the Prem we'll mooch around between 9th & 15th with the odd cup run. If we ever go down - we're fecked. You guys should be a regular top ten side in a few years time but you'll only get back to the levels you were at under Keegan (1st time around!) if you find some bored billionaire somewhere.
10. By the last couple of years of Allardyces reign there were plenty on here that said we couldn't do well in the Prem & play good football. Coyle is dismantling that myth each week.

Because they are pretending to be nice! Before they shaft us from behind!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

scoot_nufc wrote:Alright guys! How's it going? I'm Scoot from Nufc-forum.com Just wanted to get your opinion on the upcoming game.

Few Questions...

1) What will the outcome of the match be? Draw 1-1
2) Which player should we fear most? Riga
3) Which player do you fear most? Messi
4) Who is your worst player? Kevin Davies - fouling, cheating donkey, if ever there was one.
5) Who do you judge our worst player to be? Perch seems to have put his name in the frame
6) Which player should we look out for in the future? Joey Barton never know which angle he's going to get a snidey dig in from
7) Where do you think you will finish this season? Above half way would be good
8 ) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season and whats your opinion on Newcastle United? As with any promoted team, staying up is a start. Maybe mid-table after the start you've had. Squad will be tested as you pick up injuries and suspensions. Don't mind Newcastle, hopefully some of your fans are less deluded and more realistic after a short stay in the Championship
9) How long have you supported your club and What do you think the Future holds for both clubs? Supported 35 years, future is bleak for both Clubs unless they get a multi-billionaire backer (which is still no guarantee of anything) or football in the UK sorts out finances - wage cap please...
10) What is your opinion on Owen Coyle and how he has done since becoming your manager? Like OC, but compared to Megson, I'd have liked Joe Kinnear. Still needs to prove himself over a longer period of time in the Prem
