Liverpool to move for Owen Coyle?
I have heard from a very reliable source that intermediaries acting on behalf of Liverpool FC/NESV have made an approach to Owen Coyle's representatives to see whether he would be interested in taking over as manager of Liverpool in the near future.
I am told that the approach is a serious one and they view Coyle as a firm candidate to suceed Hodgson when he departs Anfield.
It could be a very big couple of months for Bolton. Coyle must be backed in the transfer market.

I heard from a very reliable source (myself), that you're talking out of your arse. Can't wait for your next thread.BoltonScott wrote:I have heard from a very reliable source that intermediaries acting on behalf of Liverpool FC/NESV have made an approach to Owen Coyle's representatives to see whether he would be interested in taking over as manager of Liverpool in the near future.

Re: Liverpool to move for Owen Coyle?
Let me ask you a few questions.....1) Do you think Roy Hodgson will be manager of Liverpool beyond this season, 2) Do you think that perhaps they may be impressed with the job Coyle has done at Bolton on a shoestring budget and 3) Kenny Dalglish (a fellow Scot) is a great admirer of Coyle.East Lower wrote:I heard from a very reliable source (myself), that you're talking out of your arse. If you don't want to believe what I have posted fair enough, but there is no need to be rude.

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) is that a question?
Coyle will be here for the foreseeable future. I have it on good authority (my own). FACT. ITK.

Just have a think about that for a bit.BoltonScott wrote:Coyle will stay providing that he is backed in the transfer market.
He left Burnley because they lacked ambition and didn't back his plans to take them forward.
Gartside needs to pull his finger out and stop making claims that we need to sell our best players in January.

So you're saying that not only will Liverpool sack Roy Hodgson, but that Kenny Dalglish – who was asked in the summer by Liverpool to suggest a manager and suggested himself, and whose name is being chanted by a "vocal minority" (copyright AGM) every time Liverpool go behind – will take this great opportunity to appoint not himself but a man with 15 month's top-flight experience and none at all in Europe?
Tell you what fella, you've started in a right old blaze. But if Keisuke Honda comes to a Bolton shorn of Owen Coyle, we'll know you're ITK.

If we back Coyle in the January transfer window then he will stay.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:So you're saying that not only will Liverpool sack Roy Hodgson, but that Kenny Dalglish – who was asked in the summer by Liverpool to suggest a manager and suggested himself, and whose name is being chanted by a "vocal minority" (copyright AGM) every time Liverpool go behind – will take this great opportunity to appoint not himself but a man with 15 month's top-flight experience and none at all in Europe?

Christian Purslow appointed Hodgson. He is now out of the equation and Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish are calling the shots at Liverpool. I am told that Dalglish only put himself forward because he knew Hodgson was unsuitable to manage LFC. Dalglish has suggested McLeish and Coyle. Comolli wants Didier Deschamps - FACT.

I am told that Purslow appointed Hodgson on the advice of Dalglish, (http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion ... z15S62REMP).BoltonScott wrote:If we back Coyle in the January transfer window then he will stay.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:So you're saying that not only will Liverpool sack Roy Hodgson, but that Kenny Dalglish – who was asked in the summer by Liverpool to suggest a manager and suggested himself, and whose name is being chanted by a "vocal minority" (copyright AGM) every time Liverpool go behind – will take this great opportunity to appoint not himself but a man with 15 month's top-flight experience and none at all in Europe?

I am told that Comolli is in charge of football strategy only (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 155544.stm).
McLeish? Are you sure he hasn't also recommended Rab C Nesbitt or Alex Salmond?
