Wanderers v Geordies

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

You should have asked a Bolton fan to do it, rather than someone who loves Newcastle so much ;)
I don't think I mention once in that report that I love Newcastle. Forgot to put my tinted specs on, sorry!
Seems to be a lot of love for Carroll, Nolan and their support :)
It's a preview of the Newcastle game. Not a preview of Bolton vs. Bolton ;)
At least Kevin Davies got a brief mention before the end of the article, although it seems a few Shittus could make him impotent.

Well, I like it.

I think MJH is right, too. Keeping the barcodes quiet on AND off the pitch will be key in the early stages.

I think the score prediction's right too. 3-1 to us.

Works for me. I fully expect the big man to score. For both sides.

Edit - is Sol Campbell likely to play?

With their injury list and Davies with a point to prove. I'd say yes.

That's amazing !!

Is it not? I had no idea!!!! My report might be a little more partisan.
Might be - but we won't know if you don't do one.

Well the big day is upon us and I want a win really bad. I know it's totally illogical but I feel this game is very important and a win could determine the level of success we can reach this season. Confidence is rising and this is a team we should be able to beat (no disrespect to Newcastle), and must beat if we want to be in the upper half of the table at the end of the season. A win today could set that tone, so come on you whites.

2-0

Saturday morning and so comes with it the surge in confidence that accompanies home games. Holden to bag, me thinks. COYWM.

Nice preview MJH-12 - some key battles identified - and I hope your prediction is more accurate than mine usually are...

Cheers bish! I've even thrown 3 bets on to back up my 3-1 prediction. Chungers to score at anytime, 3-1 at 35/1 (£2 stake), Elmo to score first, 3-1 at 65-1 (£2 stake), Davo to score first, 3-1 at 70/1 (£1 stake)

From what I've seen of Carol if our centre backs don't keep her quiet they should be shot!!!
Davo will show girlie ponytail what a real centre forward is.
2-0 the super whites

Hope to be wrong but I smell our first big (non-Arse) loss of the season.

I'm much more confident now I've seen the Newcastle teamsheet:

Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Enrique; Guthrie, Smith, Nolan, Gutierrez; Ameobi, Carroll.

Quite possibly the most static midfield I've ever seen. That, combined with the fact they're playing a 4-4-2, means we should dominate the midfield battle and have less trouble breaking them down, we seem to struggle against 4-5-1.

3-0 Wanderers.

All these 3-0, 3-1 predictions. Last season it would have been 1-0s at best. How times change. My own perdiction 3-2 to the Whites. 8)
