Fair play to the lad - he was at Bloomfield Rd today for Blackpool v Wolves. on his mate's stag do. Fair play to her as well as she's the first person to slip into his mother's ring since Dodi! 8)

I'm angry about everyone feeling angry. Especially when we've won 5-1.

on which note - Go Bish!!!

(this is bishop Pete Broadbent - who I used to know a looooooong time before he became famous!)

Bishop Broadbent made his comments about the engagement on Facebook, shortly after it had been announced last Tuesday.

He wrote: “Need to work out what date in the spring or summer I should be booking my republican day trip to France.”

He went on to say: “I think we need a party in Calais for all good republicans who can't stand the nauseating tosh that surrounds this event.

“I managed to avoid the last disaster in slow motion between Big Ears and the Porcelain Doll, and hope to avoid this one too.”

He said the wedding should belong to the family, as opposed to becoming “national flim-flam” paid for by tax payers. And he criticised the media for descending into “fawning deferential nonsense”.

“I wish them well, but their nuptials are nothing to do with me,” he wrote. “Leave them to get married somewhere out of the limelight and leave them alone.”

He later added: “I give the marriage seven years.”

Partner and I already in discussion on our escape. Can't wait for a firm wedding date to get it organised. France is on our list. But not Calais. Paris. A cafe in Place de Bastille would be good. Or St Petersburg by the Winter Palace. Or Dublin. A couple of Guinness close by the Old Post Office.

Come on, name the happy day! :D

The Irish bailout.

I'm not angry about it. I'm scared. Our banks are into their economy for £150bn. This could have serious repercussions for all of us in Europe. The markets will probably focus on Portugal next, like the vultures they are picking at a corpse.

We could be in the shit by proxy.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Self preservation, LK. We have more trade with Ireland than we have with the BRICK nations combined.

I've got the latest catalogue from the company that I always get my football boots from.

Nike have brought out their latest range. Price? £275.

That's right. £275 for a pair of football boots.

I checked it wasn't from Jack Wills.

y'see - that makes me cross - say what you mean and stick by it. don't fecking crawl about with a mealy-mouthed apology a few days later - that's just fecking lame. you were not misquoted or misunderstood - you said what you meant - and plenty of people would agree with you - now you just look like a nice person.

(ps - and he's a fecking spurs fan!)
