It's just like watching Bolton

Post by chaddy_bwfc » Mon Nov 22, 2010 12:25 pm

I sat down to watch the highlights of the game on MOTD2 last night, and Kevin Day did a piece on us playing like brazil! OC has taken a group of players that played the worst football I've seen Bolton play, to playing the best football I've seen us play. If we continue to play like this then im sure we won't have to wait another 9years before we score 5 in the league again!
And I also think it's about time someone scored a god damn hat-trick! Too many times have we have players score a brace for us. I was at the Bolton vs Ipswich game when Bobic scored the last hat-trick for us which was nearly 9years ago and I think SKD has scored a fair few braces in his time at Bolton so it's long overdue for him to get a hat-trick

I've mentioned this in my report but I'd have liked Davo to let Mandy take that last pen (was he on the pitch at the time?) for his.

Does anyone have a link to this Kevin Day thing?

I think he had been substituted by that time.

Let's hope the dancer spots that and edits it from the report then!

Klasnic had come on for him by then. MOTD2 is usually on iplayer after Tuesday so Ill post the link then, not sure why they wait until then to put it on though

Because Sky will be showing the highlights on a Monday and they also have Monday night football in which they show the other goals

I think
"I've got the ball now. It's a bit worn, but I've got it"

Davo did say on goals on Sunday that he would have let Elmo take then pen for if he was on the pitch.

This is our 4th best start to a Prem season in terms of points after 14 games.

04/05 = 23
05/06 = 26
06/07 = 24

Is anyone else here seriously talking of Champions League football? Kevin Day mentioned it, but I've yet to hear a Bolton fan talk about it. And let's keep it that way for a while.

It's November. If it happens, fantastic. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're just past a third of the way through the season. We've had a great start to the season which could have been even better. The positivity is boundless. But let's keep our feet on the ground and enjoy it - once it becomes within reach, then we can talk about it more.
