Nothing radio stories. Apparently more than half of 'us' want William to succeed Lizzie, not Big Ears. Clearly not quite grasped the concept of monarchy have they. We don't get to choose. This is a flaw.

Like the idea of the Paris jaunt. Need an excuse to visit friends anyway!

You can't talk of the Royal Family and "Paris jaunts" in the same post. Mohamed al Fayed might implicate you....

It's fine, I always wear my seatbelt, and I never get in cars with drunk Rugby league players.

This is of course nothing compared to every bastard in christendom telling everyone who'll listen that "I think I speak on behalf of the whole country...".

Stop right there.

This.

Jesus. Playing the 'national security' card is about keeping covered conspiricies and/or f*ck ups. This sort of thing really really should be available to courts, at the judge's discretion, if we are to even pretend to have a free society. They kept it quiet.

Yes. The amount of work I have to do that week, will not change one iota due to the fact there's a bank holiday in it.

said Bishop (from previous page) has now been suspended by the Bishop of London who has crawled to Buckingham Palace on hands and knees and kissed the queen's calloused feet in humble and abject pitiful apology...

the one time a bishop says summat I agree with - he is axed! wankers!

A bank holiday is just another working day for me. There'll just be more pissed nobbers to deal with later on.

Upside, I'll be able to completely avoid the TV coverage.

Downside, it'll be all over the radio. I think I might impose a day of silence on that day...

Can we point your agreement out to the Bishop of London, to show that the poor axed bishop has more support from within the ranks? Or maybe you want to start a Facebook page of support which we could all subscribe to?

I was going to suggest a strongly worded letter in Latin but that's out now.

I'm on holiday anyway that day.

But at least I know when we have to get away from the infantile, unctuous, servile diet of graciously royal pigswill that pretty much the whole media will puke out...

I've just checked out hotels in Cordoba, beautiful city, perhaps my favourite in all Spain, which was the only Spanish city, post-Franco, to elect a communist mayor, and which, I think, will be having a ball that weekend in the run up to May Day. I reckon we'll be able to find some red banners to walk behind - we managed it by accident in 2003.
