This will be an excellent game with both teams going for a win. Still these are the games that we must win especially being at home. Let's hope that Coyle prepares the boys well for this game as I don't expect it to be easy. I was sure that we would beat Newcastle. These are the tough games though as they are games that we should be easily favoured to win, and thus tougher to get mentally prepared for.

3-1 Bolton.

 This could be 5-0 to us; 0-5 to them; or a 5-5 draw. At the start of the season, this was the game I was dreading. I just had that feeling of "oh f*ck, we'll get beat against Blackpool, it's written in stone by the football gods". But now, considering our new found ability to be difficult to beat, and having striker's who could score at a virgin's convention; that feeling of woe has long passed. For a change, I'm not getting myself wound up by this one, just realy, realy looking forward to the game. I'm no longer scanning the fixture's thinking, " we could maybe steal a point there, oh, we should win that one," (but invariably don't); then attempting the maths to see which week in April/May we will get near 40 points. What a refreshing change it is.

I agree that it's more relaxing but I still think after each win o.k. that's three less points needed. After 40 points it's all fun. I think there is only one season in the PL where I didn't think about relegation and even then I'm sure it was in the back of my mind.

Only 18 points to go then before the fun  can begin and we have 24 games to get them in! :D
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Hopefully each passing week gets us closer, as I do love to have fun.

The way I look at it, is that other sides such as Spuds or Citeh can buy success, but we've earned it.

Aye - got a pi$$ed up message from a City supporter about half past six last night, saying "Tevez, top goalscorer - who the fcuk is Elmander"

I just pointed out that for £500m they'd managed 19 goals - 2 less than Blackpool.

And quite a few shy of Bolton....

Toughie against Blackpool, we'll nick it with the odd goal in 47, then off to the Council House for a Champs League six pointer. Easy.

Give it 2 weeks and he'll know who the fcuk Elmander is...

Know what you mean but we've had one clean sheet, they've had three. 5-1 either way? Nah, we never score five...

I don't think we've ever, int he clubs history, kept a clean sheet. Blackpool don't really 'do' defending as it's morally wrong and at least Holloway can stand behind that when they go on a slump.

It's got goals in this.. Probably a fair few.. I'm going 3-1 or 3-2 to us
